Miley's POV

"I'm pregnant." I say to Liam. He just stood there with his eyes wide open, like a statue. Not moving at all, he didn't even look like he was breathing. "Liiaammm." I say, snapping my fingers in front of his face.

"Liam!" Noah yells. "Guys what if he's dead?"

"Noah, he's not dead. He's in shock, that's for sure. Liam, c'mon." I say. Then I get up and help him sit on the bed. I sit next to him, and look at him.

"You're what?" Liam asks.

"I'm pregnant."

"Miley..." He starts to say.

"You're not happy, are you?" I ask, worried.

"No...I'm not happy..." Then I open my mouth to speak. "I'm thrilled." Then I smile.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah. How far along are you?" Then I sigh. "What's wrong?"

"I'm three months. And I've known for like two weeks."

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"I was too afraid. I honestly wanted to tell you, I really did. I just didn't know how, and I was terrified. Terrified-"

"Terrified I'd be mad? Terrified I'd break up with you?" Liam asks, and I nod my head.

"Yeah." I say.

"Miles, I wouldn't ever be mad that you're pregnant with my baby. Did you see a doctor?"

"No."

"Now that's what I'm angry about. Why the hell haven't you seen a doctor?" Liam replies.

"Hey, for the record, I told her she needed to see one." Braison says.

"Not now, dude." I snap.

"Well? I'm waiting."

"Liam, I didn't go see a doctor yet cause I wanted to hear the heartbeat for the first time with you. I refused to do it without you." Then he smiles.

"Well, now you need to see a doctor." Liam says, then kisses me.

"Aw." Braison and Noah say.

"Get out." I say, pointing to the door. Then they leave.

"Miles, why could you ever think I'd break up with you because of a baby?"

"Because we aren't ready." I say.

"Miley, whether we're ready or not-- we're having a baby." Liam says with a smile. "And I couldn't be any happier." Then he kisses me again.

"Thanks. I love you."

"I love you too."

"Liam?"

"Yeah Miles?"

"We still need to look at houses." Then we laugh. "And make a doctor appointment. And-"

"And you can be quiet now. We'll worry about all of that when we get back into the US. Speaking of US..."

"What?" I ask.

"What are we doing with the puppy?"

"How does that have to do with the US?"

"Because I know you wanna bring her to the US. We're not keeping her, though."

"I know. I already have a home picked out for her. I just need a confirmation that the owner will want this sweet little pit." Then I pick her up and kiss her. Then Liam picks up the puppy and pets her.

"Miley, you shouldn't be lifting heavy things."

"What? How do you know that?" I ask.

"Maybe I read a few pregnancy magazines a while back. Let's not judge now." He says, then I laugh. "What?"

"Nothing, you're just really funny. Pregnancy magazines, huh?"

"Don't judge me, maybe I was in the mood for something that wasn't all manly."

"I won't judge. I think it's awesome you're reading those." Then I smile. "I'm so happy you're thrilled about this."

"Why wouldn't I be thrilled?"

"I don't know, maybe I thought you'd be scared. Or not even want a baby."

"Miley, I'll always want a baby with you. You know...until we actually have one. Then I'll not want one for quite some time after that." He says, then smiles. "So three months, huh?"

"Yup." Then I sigh.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"Nothing's wrong...I'm just kinda scared. I mean, having Michael Joshua was hard enough...and I was like four months pregnant. He was tiny. How am I gonna have a normal sized baby? What if this one doesn't make it either? What if I'm not a good mom?" Then I start to cry.

"Shh, Miley, you're gonna do fine as a mom. I have faith this baby will make it, you gotta have faith too. And I know having him was hard, but I know you can do this. You're gonna do great." He says, embracing me.

"I'm gonna get fat."

"Miley, you'll be pregnant. Not fat. And you'll be glowing, not fat. You're creating a whole new life, Miles. You are so amazing for that. And that's why I love you." Then he kisses me passionately on the lips.

"I love you too." Then he wipes my tears with his hands. "Thanks."

"You're very welcome, baby. Just remember I love you. I'll be with you every step of the way, I promise. I'll never leave your side."

"So does this mean you're coming back in here?" I ask.

"Of course. I'm gonna go get my bags right now." Then he gets up and leaves.

When he came back, he put his bags right by mine. Then he got on his knees in front of me.

"What are you doing?" I ask, then laugh.

"I love you, and I love this baby." Then he lifts up my shirt and kisses my stomach. When he stands up, he sits by me again.

"You're gonna be such a good dad."

"You're gonna be such a good mom." Then I smile, and kiss him.

"Just remember, Miley."

"Remember what?" I ask.

"A baby is never a mistake. Maybe a surprise...but never a mistake or an accident."

And he was right. A baby isn't a mistake nor an accident. Liam's gonna be a great dad. I say to myself. And hopefully you'll be a good mom, Miley. I hope I will be. Now all we had to do when we got back home was give the little puppy a home, then get a house together, then make a doctor appointment because I just couldn't wait to hear the heartbeat. I know Liam couldn't either. He was so excited, I could definitely see it in him.
