Laxus' POV
I stepped in the doors of the Guild Hall, followed by Freed. I was instantly greeted by Mira, who had been the first to arrive. She grinned, forcing Santa hats onto our heads. She donned a pair of reindeer antlers, as well as a red dress. I didn't know where she got it, though, because I didn't remember her getting it from the shopping spree we went on a few... I guess it was months ago. It didn't feel nearly as long for me, I was still trying to get used to the time I had missed.

Mira pulled us into the building and towards her sister and Bixslow, who were both wearing similar Santa hats.

"Guess what!" Mira shouted over the loud Christmas music. "When we were gone Lisa and Bixslow started dating!" She was practically jumping straight in the air. Bixslow put an arm awkwardly behind his head as Freed and I congratulated our friend.

Lisanna and Mira started talking, mostly about Lisanna. I exchanged glances with Freed and we both laughed a bit because of how chatty they were. Bixslow joined and we were all laughing hysterically, even though it wasn't even very funny. I think it was because I hadn't seen Bixslow in a while and it was nice to catch up.

Mira and Lisanna stopped talking and smiled at us, and soon we stopped too, frowning from their criticizing.

Lisanna spoke up. "What are your guys' plans for Christmas?"

"I don't really know. Just stay here I guess, I already have my place all decorated," Mira replied.

Lisanna smiled. "Do you think we could stay with you? We've never really had Christmas together..."

Mira agreed quickly. "Of course! The more the merrier!" She would regret ever saying that, though.

Evergreen snuck up behind her. "Oh? Really, do you think we could stay over too?" She feined cheeriness, though I could tell she was just trying to get back at Mira for blackmailing her and Elfman and exposing their secret. "S-sure." She said. She was reluctant, not only because of Evergreen's tone, but also because she lived in a small apartment with barely enough room for two people, let alone five.

I shook my head at her. You're too nice, Mira, I thought.

Freed poked me on the shoulder. "What?" I asked.

"Laxus..." he asked. "Do you think we need a bigger house?" He was obviously thinking the same thing that I was.

I tried not to grin at that. Little did he know what I had planned for that weekend.

***
It was after midnight and we had been there for more than three hours. There had been some dancing, standing about, and karaoke. And for Freed there had been a lot of drinking. I'm not, sure why, but Freed got very drunk very quickly that night. When I asked him why he was drinking he replied that he was worried about something. I didn't make him elaborate, because he was pretty out of it.

When it turned 12:30 I told Freed we should get home because he was very drunk and I was afraid he would do something stupid. But he said he wanted to stay there a little bit longer. I didn't want to argue with a drunk Freed so I let him stay.

I had turned my head for a second when he knocked over the food. He stumbled and landed on the table which housed the food, causing the punch, popcorn, chips, beer and Cana to fall to the ground. The salsa had fallen on Freed's head and he just laid there, on the floor, with food piled on top of him. I laughed a bit before helping him up.

"Freed. Oh my god. Let me help you." I draped his arm over my shoulder and carried him to the other side of the room. The others just ignored him, they were too emersed in whatever they were doing. Except Cana, who was dusting herself off and collecting the beer cans from the floor.
