Our smiles disappeared as Umbridge got closer. Ugh, that pink definition of irritating was getting on my last nerve. 'What is going on here? You two, what gives you right to create commotion?!' back to school now! Detention both of you! And the rest of you, scatter! '
we started walking towards school behind Umbridge, as the rest of the students snickered off in different directions. We looked at each other and laughed quietly. 'Unbelievable, pulling off such dangerous stunts! and on school grounds!' I rolled my eyes at her rambling, but something caught my eye. The clearing in front of the castle was full of students, but beyond all those rambling teens, on the edge of the forest, I saw something that made my blood freeze in my veins. I gasped, attracting Draco's attention. 'What?' he asked, then followed my gaze to human looking creatures that were coming out of woods. Except they had black horns, fangs, and were growling. They were getting closer towards where the students were. All caught up in their own world, unsuspecting of the danger. Umbridge noticed as well, she started shouting for the profesors, who were at the gate, Dumbledor and Mcgonagal with them.But there was no time, demons started running towards the, now screaming and terrified students, who were seemingly frozen in fear. Before I knew what I was doing, I spread my wings and flew towards them like a lightning. I landed just in front of the huddling group, and just as demons were to jump on the students, I conjured a veil of darkness. Causing demons to slam in the wall and bounce backwards. Now the profesors were running towards us, as demons constantly attacked the veil, which was sure to crack soon.Someone appeared on my side, their wand up, and from the corner of my eye I saw Draco. i screamed in pain as the veil broke, shadows falling back to ground, and I fell to my knees holding my head. 'Protego!' Few voices shouted, as well as Draco's. demons bounced back again, but this was the last time, and they knew it. I felt rage. I knew my father sent these demons, it was too many of them, so it had to be his order. I rose to my feet, my eyes shining blue, as I lifted my hands wind picked up, dark clouds covered the sky, and lightning cracked. I suddenly and quickly lowered my hands, and several shots of lightning strike the ground before me, killing dozens of demons, but not enough. i looked around me, left and right, students formed a line, making sure demons can't pass us and reach the school. I thought of something, I flew up and started spinning, a tornado was formed and I directed it towards demons. It picked up almost half of them. I made the tornado turn to a fire one, blue flames spinning around, burned the demons. And as it disappeared, only grey ashes remained. I felt darkness creep on the edges of my vision, I created another thunderstrike, only few demons remaining, as my world suddenly started spinning, my vision going black. I used too much power. My last thought was how I should practice more so these things don't happen, right before I slipped into darkness.
