Fear me and my mathematics. The crew of the ship hummed a tune as they lifted fishnets and manned the sails.
Ryou, afraid of the boat wrecking and himself drowning, continued about his business while wear floaties on his arms. Kaiba, without any sh*ts to give, stayed away from the outside's salty sea air.
Bakura, wearing his signature scowl, leaned against the edge of the boat, looking out into the sea. "This is a load of bullocks..." He frowned. "Why do we even need a boat?"
"It's useful for the plot. It just makes things easier." Ryou chimed. "Besides, it's so beautiful out at sea!"
Bakura, to entertain himself, decided to sharpen one of his knives. After all, they made him feel all tingly. "I'd rather be at home." He frowned. "I hate the ocean. I hate everything, actually."
"Oh, don't hate the ocean!" Ryou stuck out his lower lip. "You might make the mermaids angry."
"Ra, don't tell me you actually believe in mermaids." Bakura grumbled.
"Who says they don't exist?" Yugi joined the conversation with a flippy fish in his hands. "The majority of the ocean has gone unexplored. We have better pictures of outer space!"
The fish in his hands had wriggled free, slapping Bakura in the face with its tail before diving back into the ocean. "Bloody...!" He couldn't even complete his thoughts, the fish was gone.
From below the surface, the fish looked up at the boat above, sighing in relief that it could escape. It swam off, happy and safe. It joined with another school, and they swam deeper and deeper into the ocean.
Then they were followed by some merpeople.
