Chapter 2

4 months later; Current Day: September 19, 2013;Vancouver,B.C. Canada

Noelle

I tiptoed to the car across the street, trying to make sure that the snow wasn't telling where I was. Squatting, I slowly peeked over the car hood and he wasn't out yet. I sighed and frowned in disappointment then I felt my phone vibrate, it was a text from one of my best friends Mercedes reading; "I'm in position and I'm in position. Do u have your ammo? Is the target in sight?". I giggled quietly and texted back, "No, not yet the 'target' is not in sight and my ammo is prepared". Then I heard a voice call, "Bye Mom! I'll be back later. Love you!" and boots crunching the snow, my eyes widened and I quickly texted back,"THE TARGET HAS LEFT THE HOUSE! ITS GO TIME!". I swiftly put my phone in my coat pocket and gathered my ammo in one arm and held one in my other hand. I heard someone fall on the snow in the front yard. I got up from the car and began throwing the snowballs at him but by the time i reached his front yard I was welcome with a drop to the ground and cold snow hitting my face.

I groaned and turned my face to see Mercedes laying next to me putting her finger to her mouth and I got the message, then I heard him sighing and saying,"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk you guys know better then to try to ambush me". Mercedes and I said nothing. "Guys come on, get up or we'll be late for breakfast". We still said nothing."Guys..... this isn't funny" he said and you could hear his voice tremble. We just layed there in the snow. He walked closer to us and shook our shoulders crying with panic in his voice "Noe, Merc ARE U GUYS OK!?!?". "Now!" I mouthed as Merc and I took him and pulled him into the snow bank in the middle of us. "Haha! We got you!" I said as me and Merc got up and high fived. "Yeah! We so got you!" Merc said.He got up, sat on the snow and said "That was not funny you guys". Merc and I giggled. He then said" Guys I dont know where my glasses went". I chuckled and held the glasses up to him and said "Alex, they are right here". "Thank you" Alex said as he got up and got them from my hands. "Now that pranks have been settled may we head for Moonbooks for some hot drinks and warm food before school. Cause lets face it, all of this has left us freezing and hungry" Merc said. Alex and I laughed and agreed, we brushed all the snow off our clothes and starting walking to Moonbooks.

Hey guys! Cute right? This was a way to set the chapter up and introduce the trio Noelle, Mercedes and Alexander. Is this to short?
