You grab your cell phone when it rings, waking you up from your nice sleep. You don't check the caller, you only raise the phone up to your ear.
"Mmm...?" You mumble into the speaker.
"(Y/n)?" Mark aounds amused. "Are you asleep?"
"Mmm..." you groan in reply.
"Oh stop it (y/n), or else i'll have to come wake you up myself." He gives this sentence a small growl, which immediately wakes you up.
"What?" You mutter. "What do you want, Mark?" You ask.
"You should come over again." He says. "You've only been over here once, but that was only because of your job." Mark whined. "I want you to come over for fun."
You sigh.
"Even after all that happened yesterday?" You ask, concerned.
"I'm perfectly fine,(y/n)." Mark assures you, his tone soft. "I got a lot of sleep last night, so I feel great."
"Okay, then." You finally agree.
"Ill come get you in about twenty minutes." Mark hangs up before you can say anything else. You sigh, and lower the phone. Mark seems fine enough.... but you're still a little bit worried about him. You check the time. Its 9 in the morning. A whole day with Mark to look forward to. You get up and get dressed (you decide what it is! ^_^). It only takes you ten minutes, so that leaves ten minutes for you to sit around and wait for Mark to arrive. Luckily, the few minutes flashes by and you hear Mark's car pull up in the driveway. You forget to say bye to your mom, but Adam is no longer at the house. You run out to the driveway and jump in the passenger seat.
"You're energetic this morning" Mark says and smiles at you. You smile back.
"I'm looking forward to hanging out with you more." You speak your mind. Mark is a little surprised by your outspokenness, but he seems happy. A warm smiles washes over his face. It takes another twenty minutes or so for you to arrive at his house.
"So we're gonna stay here all day?" You ask.
"Is that a problem?" He smirks a little. You shake your head.
"Good." Mark plants a quick kiss on your forehead then exits the car. You follow.
"So... what are we gonna do?" You ask slowly. Mark smiles, then takes your hand and pulls you to the bedroom that you had been on before that doubled as a recording room for Mark's YouTube channel.
"Wanna play a game?" He asks. You cross your arms over your chest and look away.
"Um. I don't really... play video games." You tell Mark awkwardly.
"No surprise." He says with a laugh. "Ill teach you." He pulls the black chair back and gestures for you to sit.
"Where are you gonna sit?" You ask Mark, but his pulling up of a small metal folding chair answers your question.
"Um, that looks not very comfortable." You raise an eyebrow as he sits in the too small chair. He shakes his head a little.
"I'm perfectly okay." He tells you. He stops speaking to turn on the moniter.
"What do you wanna play?" He asks you.
"Uh, what do you have?" You aks, not knowing anything about what was going on at the moment. Mark smiles.
"How about we play Mario Kart." He says, and pulls out two Wii U controllers. He places one of them in your hands. He leads you out to the living room where the Wii U is connected to the television.
"Don't worry, this game is pretty self explanatory. " he says as he turns everything on. You had never been interested in video games, but if you were playing it with Mark... that was a different story.
"So... I hold it like this?" You point the front of the remote towards the tv. Mark shakes his head.
"Hold it sideways, like a steering wheel." He tells you.
"Oh." You turn the controller. You play the game with Mark for hours, laughing and learning about games and about Mark. The door opens at around 11:00am, and Ryan and Matt come in.
"Whats going on guys?" Matt asks, a small smile on his face.
"Playing Mario Kart." You say, not taking your eyes off the screen as you pass Mark and get into first place. "Wanna join?"
Mark resets the game and tosses the two extra controllers to the boys. They catch the controllers flawlessly and collapse onto the couch.
"Bet I can win first place!" Ryan shouts. Mark raises an eyebrow.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Mark retaliated with a smile. You played for a while longer. Ryan didn't get first place. You did.
"And you said.you weren't good at games." Mark laughs, removing the Mario kart disk from the Wii.
"People change." You say simply with a cute shrug. Ryan stretches and yawns.
"So, what should we so now?" He asks.
"Lets watch a movie!" Matt suggests. "We should watch deadpool." Mark stands up.
"Excellent idea!" He uses hulu to pull up a movie about a super hero with split personalities called deadpool. You don't question it. Matt makes two big bowls of popcorn and Ryan grabs some soda and Make sits down on the couch and he puts one of his arms around you. You l we t him. Soon, Matt and Ryan arrive with refreshments and you all relax to watch the movie. You all have laughed your asses off by the time the end credits roll. Also, Chica has joined you and Mark on the couch, her soft head rested on your leg. You pat the soft animal.
"Aww hi pupper!" You coo and chica looks up at you happily. You see Mark smile out of the corner of your eye and he reaces down to run Chica's ears. Ryan has fallen asleep and Matt is still eating popcorn, his cat curled up on his stomach.
"Well, I'm gonna go visit my girlfriend." Matt announces and hops off the couch, disturbing his sleeping cat. You and Make both wave him goodbye and Ryan snorts in his sleep as his own sort of farewell. After Matt leaves, you and Make are left alone with sleeping Ryan. You pat Chica's head softly and she looks up at you happily. Mark grunts as he stands up and goes to the kitchen.
"Want some dinner, (y/n)?" He asks you.
"Um, I can't cook." You say shyly. Mark smiles.
"I can." You look at him, surprise. "Oh?" You say. "What you gonna make?" You ask curiously and lean over the arm of the couch.
"Hmm...." Mark sighs and stops moving for a moment. "I make a mean lasagna." He smiles. "How about that?" You nod.
"That sounds awesome." You watch with your head leaned on your hand. Mark keeps himself busy, humming softly as he moves around the kitchen. You drift off to sleep and you wake up to find a plate of lasagna on the coffee table. Its still hit which means you woke up just in time. You try to get up, but you suddenly realize that Chica is laying on you fully now.
"Uh, Mark!?" You call out through the house. Mark rushes in, his hair is slightly damp as if he has.just gotten out of the shower.
"What?" He shoos Chica off if you, allowing you to sit up.
"Were you in the shower?" You ask and reach up to touch Mark's wet hair. Mark nods.
"I've been trying to lighten up the blue so I can dye it a different color." He tells you.
"Oh! Really?" You ask, folding your legs. "What color?"
"Red" Mark smiles. "It'll match my channel now." He stands up and goes tocthe kitched and brings back a glass if ice water.
"Are you gonna eat too?" You ask Mark.
"I already did." He tells you. " I already did the dishes too and took a shower. (Y/n), you we're asleep for quite a while. I just kept your food heated up." He smiles as you pick up the plate and start eating. You're surprised by the greatness of the food.
"Oh wow, this is great lasagna!" You compliment. Mark smile turns to a grin that pushes up his cheeks.
"I'm glad you like it." He says enthusiastically."well, my hair is really wet, so I'm gonna go dry it." He gets up and leaves you to eat in silence. You finish the good food happily, then you lay back on the couch and stare out the sliding glass door into the backyard. Wind is softly rustling the trees and you can hear the soft barking of dogs in the distance. After a moment, Mark returned in markiplier Pajama pants and his hair was a fluffy mess. You covered your mouth to keep yourself from snorting with laughter. The light blue locks we're all over the place, probably defying several laws of gravity. You could hold it in and your head threw back automatically and laughed until you cried.
"What?" Mark asked, genuinely confused.
"Your hair!" You replied through the laughs. "Its ridiculous!" You held your hand back across your face to control yourself. Mark smiles.
"Oh, yeah" he sits down on the couch next to you. "I always forget that you..." his smile fades and is replaced with slight relief. "Never mind" he says, looking at the floor. "I'm just glad you're here (y/n). You feel your face blushing and you cover your face with both hands.
"Thanks." Your speech is muffled. You don't look up for a minute, but you feel Mark's hand as he takes your writsts ands pulls your hands down off your face. You let him, but you just blush more and look away. I'm so stupid! You think to yourself.
"(Y/n), look at me please." His voice us soft and low, and it makes you want to look at him. You do. His face is solemn, but sweet. He just sits there, holding your hands and looking into your eyes. you feel so awkward that you just stand up.
"I-i have to go." You say quickly. Mark laughs.
"And have you forgotten that you can't leave until I drive you?" His face darkens with a grim smile. You step back nervously. Mark then stands up straight and laughs again.
"Of course I'll take you home." He walked over and takes your hand, then pulls you out to the car.
"Lets take you home."
