(This chapter will be very fluffy, so here's a squeal warning, just in case 👍∩__∩❤ it'll be a bit short though, so please don't be mad at me hahhh...)
You struggle to open your eyes, but when you finally get them to cooperate, you're happy to discover that the room you are in is very dark and quiet. You're also covered in several warm, soft blankets, which makes you happy. You look around, only to discover that the room you are in is very familiar. Then it hits you, this is the room you had slept in the first day that you cleaned Mark's house. You're comforted by this thought. Cautiously, you open the curtain, only to practically have your eyes roasted out of their sockets. You quickly reclosed the curtain and sit down on the bed. Your head hurts... a lot. You try to remember why. Oh. Yeah. You remember. You groan into your hands. You don't want to leave the room now, or else your face would turn bright red. You guessed it already was. Just as you were basically rolling in your own embarrassment, the door cracked open a little bit. You jumped back under the covers, but then you realized it was just Chica wandering in. She jumps up on the bed with you.
"Aw, thanks Chica" you say when she lays her head in your lap.
You lay back and continue to pet her, your eyes closed. Your head, you realize, is throbbing and your stomach hurts. You whimper to yourself, causing Chica to crawl up to your face. You couldn't help but smile.
"You're so sweet." You coo at her. You take a deep breath, and the smell of pancake and sausage wafts through the crack in the door. Your stomach growled, and Chica sat up quickly. You laugh.
"Oops, sorry Chica, that was my tummy." You scratch her ears to comfort her. She calms down quickly, but your stomach doesn't. You don't think you can resist the urge to go out to the kitchen. You try to stand up, but your head and legs, still weak and sore from all the alcohol you had drank the night before. As you stood up, you slowly made your way out into the open. To your surprise, the room was pleasantly dark, and it smelled even better out here. You staggered to the kitchen and nearly fell over, but Mark quickly turned and caught you before you could hit the ground.
"Whoa, careful there, puppy" Mark lifts you back up to a standing position, but keeps his arms around you. He kisses your forehead before letting you go and turns back to the stove. Your face is red again, but you are too distracted by the food to worry about your embarrassment.
"That. Smells. Awesome." You say slowly, a happy smile slowly spreading across your face.
"Want some?" Mark turns and holds out a plate for you. You grab it and Mark drops a huge pancake and a couple of sausage links onto your plate.
"Mm, thanks." You close your eyes, inhaling the yummy smell. Mark pats your head and turns to get his own breakfast. You laugh when he flips his pancake and it lands on the floor.
"Aw shit." Mark picks up the pancake and put it on his plate.
"Still good." He shrugs. You nearly snort pancakes out your nose.
"What? It was only on the floor for a couple seconds." Mark is grinning ridiculously. You hug him.
"You're so silly." You laugh, pressing your cheek to his chest. His torso rumbles with a deep chuckle, and he ruffles your hair slightly.
"Get to eating, we've got a whole day of nothing to get to." Mark jokes. You smile at him.
"Wait, Mark, dont you have to record a couple of videos today?" You question him. His rufdling of yohr hair stops and he sighs.
"Oh, yeah, not to mention uploading and some editing." He pouts. "I wont have as much time to hang with you as I thought..." A hand to his chin, Mark continues makkng grummpy growling sounds. You pat his head and remove yourself from his grasp so you can eat.
"Dont worry, ill make sure we have plenty of time to cuddle later." You kid.
"'Kay." Mark's expression tells you that he took your words completely seriously.
"Umm" I was kidding. You cant bring yourself to tell him that. Not that you dont wamt to cuddle with Mark considering everything you did to him last night... you shake your head quickly. Damn, drunk you pisses you off. You proceed to stuff your face with Mark's delicious breakfast, Mark watching you quietly the entire timw. You finish, and he takes your plate, giving you a quick hug.
"Hey, no cuddles until later." You fake scold him. Mark turns and glares at you, his lips puckered into an angry pout. You cant help but laugh.
" s'not funny" Mark frowns, taking the silliness further. He turns his back to you to do the dishes, his silence not meaning anything dangerous, but it still upset you.
"Hey, we really will cuddle later, just be patient and get your work done." You inform the back of Mark's head.
"Yes sir." Mark replies stiffly. You try to surprise him with a quick hug, but he speedily turns you around so that he is the one doing the hugging.
"Hey!" You smack Mark's chest with the palm of your hand. "Illegal cuddles!" Mark laughs loudly and noogies you until your hair is frizzier than before.
"Mwahaha, youre no match for the iron fist of the Markimoo!" He continues to noogie you til you cant help but laugh too.
"Oi, knock it off!" You grab Mark's wrist and he stops with a smile. You smile evilly, not letting go of Mark's wrist.
"You're so fucking cute!" He closes his eyes and nuzzles the top of your head. You giggle as his hair tickles your eyebrows. You grab his red hair and kiss his forehead quickly. He hugs you again, then lets you go.
"Welp, I really should get to work." He tells you and continues to do the dishes. You watch until he's done.
"Alright, im going to go work on videos, so you can stay out here and read, watch tv or whatever." Mark informs you as he walks down the hall to his room. He gives you a small wave and a smile as be dissappears behind the closing door with a click. You realize that you might really like this guy.
