Saturday evening Nicki,Tiara and I decided on watching a movie since none of us was ready to go to bed yet. I haven't told Shawn about the little get to getter he and I were gonna have with Todd and Lissa. I did try to call him though after we came back from the mall but I guess he was just very busy because Shawn never missed my calls ever so I understand when he's really swamped.

And yes I did think about our relationship and I'm ready now to give us a try, nothing's holding me back now and I ain't getting any younger I need to settle and build a comfortable home for my daughter. I was planning  on telling Shawn the next time we meet that is why I wanted to meet him so badly tonight but I guess I'll have to wait for tomorrow. I know he'll be over the moon when he hears this, he's been waiting for this for quite some time now.

Right now I'm sitting on the couch between Nicki and Tia who has her head resting on my lap. They were both so focused on the movie while I on the other hand was bored like hell, I'm really not a movie watching kinda girl. I prefer Empire, The Real, Scandal and other things like that not movies. While I was still bored I felt my phone vibrating from my pocket, I scooted up a lil bit to get it and it was a text from Shawn

Baby daddy😘😉: Hey sorry I missed your call was busy at work. Hope all is good

I smiled like a crazy person after reading that message. I can't believe after all these years and with everything, Shawn still managed to make me smile like a child at a Candy store.

"Must be somethin real good over that phone for you to chees like that" Nicki said eyeing me and I giggled

"Whatever mind your own business" I said  not even looking at her. While I was busy texting Shawn back.

Soul mate😍: Lol no they just too damn focused on this movie while I'm bored like hell plz come over..plz baby daddy 😉

I laughed and decided not to reply on that one I just dropped my phone on the table. Somehow I couldn't erase the smile that was on my face, And the unbelievable part was that the reason behind my sudden "good mood" was a man and that man happens to be Shawn Corey Carter, Wow who would have thought after all these years.

"Shawn's coming over but you girls don't have to worry cos we'll just hang in my room" I said informing the girls

"Mmm I knew he had some to do with that smile on your face" Nicki said smiling devilishly

"It's not even like that, we just gonna talk that's all" I said to my ever so nosy friend

"Mmm I ain't say none" she said sipping her imaginary tea and I rolled my eyes, she's too much for me sometimes

"So my parents are finally getting together again...Yepiii" Tiara said to no one in particular, I looked at her and she was still staring at the tv like she had said at all. I shook my head and decided not to say anything to these two crazy females I happen to live with. A few minutes later we heard a nock on the door, the both of them looked at me

"Somebody's boo's at the door" Tiara said and Nicki busted out in full laughter, I can't stand these two people like seriously they need Jesus no doubt about it. I just stood up and went to open the door for Shawn
