School went by surprisingly fast. Me and Brendon fooled around in all of our classes like we usually do. At lunch I told all the guys that my parents wouldn't be home for a week and of course, Brendon being the crazy person he is suggested that I throw a party at my house.
"Ya that'd be sick!" Ryan practically screamed.
"I'll bring the booze," Jon added a tad too exited.
I decided to give in to the boy's request. They said they'd invite some people since I really didn't know anyone else. I didn't think my parents would really mind. I mean come on.. what harm can a small highschool party do?
After school Brendon and I grabbed some Tropical Smoothie and we headed to his house to pick up some of his clothes, since he'd be staying with me for a while. We walked in and I was immediately pulled into a hug by his mom, Grace.
"Hey Elena! Are you up for another Twilight marathon tonight?"
Grace and I had become pretty close and she was used to me being over all the time. Brendon says she likes it when I come over since her two daughters already moved out.
"Uh sorry mom but I was wondering if maybe I could stay with Elena for a few nights. Her parents aren't gonna be home." Brendon asked
"Oh of course, it's not safe for Elena to stay home alone." She says as she wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
Brendon went up to grab his stuff and soon came back down with his duffel bag.
"Bye mom, love you"
"Bye honey, bye Elena! Love you both." she yelled as we walked out the door.
Me and Bren got in the car and headed for home.
"Gosh I love your mom."
