Brendon's POV

Today is the day. It sounds pretty cliche, but today may be the day all of my dreams come true. Pete Wentz, nearly one of the most famous bassist in the world, would be at Ryan's house in three hours.

To say I was nervous was an understatement, not to mention my anxiety isn't helping what-so-ever. I talked on the phone with the guys earlier and they seemed as calm as can be... Pshh they were probably just high.

I was on my way to pick up Elena, we were gonna head over to Ryan's early for a mini sound check. I don't know what I would do without her, sure I had Audrey but Elena is my best friend. She's stuck by my side and has encouraged me through everything. I may sound sappy but without her I most likely would've given up by now. Speaking of Elena.. She's been acting pretty weird lately, I couldn't help but notice she was being distant. Every time I asked her what was wrong she just shrugged me off and said she was tired, I obviously didn't believe her, heck I'm her best friend.. Does she really expect me not to know if somethings upsetting her?

I pulled up to her drive, she was already sitting on the porch looking as beautiful as ever.. Wait what? Why did I just think that.. I mean sure Elena is really pretty but.. Oh just shut up brain!!

"Hey bitch! You ready to blow this Popsicle stick?" She asked rather excitedly. She's probably just exited to meet Pete.

"Popsicle stick? Did you seriously just say that?" I laughed as she hopped in the car.

"Yes I did... You got a problem hot shot?"

We just finished "sound check" the guys still seemed as if this was a normal day for them. I don't understand, I was practically seconds away from having a panic attack and pissing myself. I think Elena could tell because she came over and rested her hands on my shoulders. I didn't know why but her touch immediately soothed me and left tingles throughout my body.

"Bren you need to calm down, your nerves are gonna get the best of you." She said softly.

About thirty minutes later there was a knock on the door.

"Brendon, dude you look like you just saw your grandma naked." Jon laughed, seriously how are they handling this so well.

I was finally calming down and now the nerves were rushing back. I had to listen to Elena, she was right, if I didn't calm down I was gonna fück this whole thing up.

Ryan went to get the door. We all heard a set of foot steps coming down the stairs to the garage. I managed to calm myself, not by much, but enough so I don't have a panic attack. Speaking of Panic.. apparently the guys named the band "Panic! at the Disco." I didn't really understand why but I didn't really care.. whatever floats their boats I guess.

The garage door opened and there he was.. Pete and all his glory. Now I may seem like I'm being over dramatic but seriously, Pete Wentz is like God to all emos.

I looked over to Elena, I thought she was gonna scream. If anyone liked Fall Out Boy more than me, it was her.

Pete came inside and I suddenly felt embarrassed of our tiny garage.

He went around and introduced himself to the guys and Elena. As I thought she would.. She squeeled and without shame, pulled him into a constricting hug.

"Can't... Breathe.." Pete sound trying to gasp for air. I wasn't surprised, she's like a Boa Constrictor hidden inside a teenage girl.

Once Pete reached me, I honestly had to refrain from screaming like a fan-girl.

"Ahh.. You must be Brendon. Pleasure to meet ya in person." Pete introduced himself.

"The pleasure is all mine Mr. Wentz." I'm pretty sure Elena and the guys all widened their eyes at my politeness. What.. I'm trying to make a good impression.

"Oh please.. Call me Pete. I'm not that old yet." Pete laughed.

We talked for a while. After I got to hang out with Pete, I wasn't nervous anymore. Elena looked like she was having the time of her life. I smiled to myself, I'm so glad she's happy.

Then it was time to get down to business.

We were about five songs in, just ended one of our songs called 'I Write Sins not Tragedies' one of my personal favorites.

"Okay okay that's enough." Pete said, I was so worried. Oh my God, he hates us. I probably sound like shit and his heard can't take anymore.

"If you play anymore I'm seriously gonna get jealous, jeez you guys are sick!!" Pete exclaimed.

What?! He liked us? There has to be a mistake.

"Seriously.. I know this band called something like Fall Down Boy, and you guys sound almost as good as them." Pete joked. Everybody laughed, I seriously love this dude, even if he was kidding.

"Well I guess If they're almost as good as this band you speak of... You're gonna have to sign them." Elena said innocently.

"Hmm.. I guess if I have to"

"Well Pete.. Thanks for coming all the way out here, sorry for waisti.. WAIT WHAT?!" I yelled, did he just practically say he was gonna sign us?!

"I'm gonna sign you guys. Seriously, it would be sick to have you as the first band on my new label."

"Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!" All of us jumped up and down like twelve-year olds who just got a new x-box for Christmas.

" Oh and thank your pretty little friend over there.." He pointed to Elena. "Those editing skills on the video she sent were killer, they really made your video stand out." Pete said.

Elena blushed.

I was so ecstatically happy. Pete explained everything and said that we'd be going on tour with them after graduation, including Elena. I couldn't believe it, graduation was in a few months and then I'd be traveling the world with my best friends.

After Pete said that about to tour, I looked over at Elena and saw that she had a sad look on her face. What's wrong with her?

She met my gaze and her frown immediately turned into a huge smile. She ran over to me and gave me one of those huge hugs that she gave Pete earlier.

"I knew you could do it." she said into my chest.
