A vibrant feeling buzzed through Louis. It was a constant feeling, energizing Louis so much he had trouble sleeping. For once it wasn't a horrible headache or uncomfortable body temperature keeping him from his sleep. The obvious reason was of course the trip. What else could keep him up like that? Perhaps a boy on his mind, but he wouldn't admit that yet, not even to himself.

When the alarm clock finally rang, Louis wasn't tired. Even though it was 4:30 am. His blue eyes were wide open, like he had forgotten how to blink. He sat up on his bed, just on time to hear a bling from his bedside table. At that his mouth twisted in to a wide grin as he saw he got a text from somebody. Oh he surely knew from who.

From: Harry

Morning!! Did you sleep well? x

To: Harry

I did not sleep at all, and you could already guess that. I can hardly wait to meet you at the airport!

Louis pressed sent, nonetheless feeling like he had lacked of a little something in his previous text message. And with a moment spend considering with little hesitance, he send another one to fulfill the first one with biting his lip.

To: Harry

x

But he wouldn't worry about the possibility he just fucked up everything with a single text. Not right now at least, he was supposed to be getting ready. Louis jumped up from his bed on his feet. And he was so happy. So damn happy.

" You're sure you got everything?"

" Yes mom, you have asked that about ten, actually twenty times already. And we are already at the airport so it's kind of too late anyway."

" Do you have gum? I've heard that chewing that helps when-"

" Mom, tell me when Louis William Tomlinson does not have gum with him, hm?" Louis huffed and pulled out some gum out of his pockets to prove his point, to show that yes, he had gum.

His mum smiled and shook her head at her son.

" Yeah yeah... It's good to have gum on you, I used to do that too. It's really smart, always prepared for possible kisses from a special someone..."

Louis wasn't blind, so he didn't miss the way his mother's lips curled in a suggestive way and he did not miss the message Louis's mom hid in there.

" I'm not gonna kiss anybody..." He mumbled quietly, hating to admit his loneliness to his own mother.

" A mom can dream." Jay sighed with a following giggle. Louis huffed.

" Now, may I finally go to Harry? He's waiting for sure." He asked impatiently, already opening the car door. His mom sighed deeply and in the last second pulled Louis back from the door he was about the step out from. She embraced her only child tightly in her arms over the gear shift and stained takeaway cups, like he was leaving for good. Louis chuckled, acting like it was embarrassing and silly, but still hugged her back as hard. This was new, this was something Louis had never done and he didn't mind taking in the strength that hug gave him.

" You look glowing." Were the first words leaving Harry's mouth, as he spotted Louis entering the airport from the main doors and approached him handing him a takeaway coffee.

"Thank you." Louis answered quietly, not quite believing the tall lad. Because it was literally something past 5 in the morning, and he hadn't slept properly. There's no way he passed as more than average.
