It was halfway through the third period and the Canadiens were playing a dominant game, winning 5-1 over the Oilers. Brendan, Weise and PK each had 1 and Patchy had 2 goals. It was a pretty slow game, for us athletic trainers anyways, so during the game I was looking out around the stands to find a decent looking girl. I was trying to succeed in my mission of finding Caden a girl and I figured what better place to look than a hockey game? Leaning against the glass my eyes scan over the crowd, landing on two girls who seemed to be friends. One girl had medium length dark brown hair that was pin straight and a very pretty, round face. The other girl sitting next to her had short blonde hair and even from my position I could tell she had blue eyes. All of a sudden a man carrying popcorn comes to sit down next to the girl with blonde hair, leaning over to give her a kiss. I guess that just settled my decision of what girl to chose. There were 6 minutes left in the game so I jumped into action,

"Hey Graham I'm going to run to the bathroom," I tell him as I start walking out of the box. I quickly jog in the direction of the mystery girl, coming to her section a minute later.

"Excuse me, could you get that girls attention? The one with brown hair," I kindly ask the man with the first seat in the row.

"Sure thing," he says as he leans over and passes the message along the row of people until the girl looks up at me. I wave and smile, motioning her over to me. This must be the weirdest thing ever. She gets up, sending a questioning look to her blonde friend. She makes her way over to me and I introduce myself,

"Sorry but could you follow me real quick?" I ask as I start to walk out of the middle of the aisle.

"Am I in trouble?" She asks anxiously.

"Oh god no! Sorry this is actually so ridiculous and weird but do you have a boyfriend?" I ask.

"Ummm no."

"Great!" I exclaim. "My names Quincy, Quincy Anderson, and I'm an athletic trainer for the Canadiens," I explain.

"Oh cool!" She says excitedly, a smile forming on her face.

"My best friend, Caden, is also an athletic trainer and I'm trying to set him up with somebody since we're both new here. I saw you in the stands and I think you could be perfect for him."

"What about you?" She asks.

"Umm it's complicated but I'm already interested in somebody else," I answer. "Anyways I'm pretty sure the team, including Caden and I, are going out to dinner after the game to celebrate so could you come with?"

"This might be too forward but could my friend and her boyfriend come as well?"

"Nothing's too forward after what I just did," I laugh. "Of course they can come. Just stay in your seats after the game and I'll come get you," I tell her.

"Sounds great! Thanks I guess," she smiles as I begin to walk away. "Hey wait!" She calls after me.

"Yea?" I turn around.

"There's thousands of girls here, why me?"

I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know really. Honestly you were close, you're really pretty, and you seem normal."

"I'm normal trust me," she laughs. "I'll see you soon."

I say goodbye to her once again and head back to my spot besides Graham and Caden.

The game finishes with the score still being 5-1, high fives were sent all around the bench with smiles on everybody's faces. It seems that they continue on with the winning streak. We all file out of the ice rink and head into the tunnels to get to the locker rooms.
