Brendan's POV

I like her, I really do. Tonight's date was a lot of fun and different from any other ones i've ever been on, and I've been on several. Quincy was so genuine, funny and down to earth, plus she was stunning. I was going to kiss her goodnight but she left before I could lean in, why? It was probably about what Michele told us, I really shouldn't have even asked her out on this date but I wasn't thinking and I guess I'm still not thinking because I want to go out with her again. Was Michele serious when he said even a kiss could get us in trouble? I obviously wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my job and Quincy wouldn't either but I don't want to lose someone like Quincy. Should I just be friends with her? But then i'd be dying on the inside. I begin to walk away from Quincy's door where I'd been standing for the last 5 minutes to head back to my car and head home. I really have to figure this out because I feel completely torn, I need to talk to Michele.

Quincy's POV

"So how was your date?" Caden asks me with a smirk as he comes out from behind the kitchen wall.

"It was really nice actually," I answer truthfully.

"What did you guys do?"

"Well we went out to a nice dinner and then he took me to Bell Centre to skate for a while," I say.

"And?" Caden prompts with a grin.

"And we had a really nice dessert that he planned with you and Nathan's help," I laugh.

"Was it good?" he asks eagerly.

"Delicious. That was really nice of you guys," I answer with a sigh as I think about how much fun I really did have tonight.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know. It's just, I really had a great time tonight and Brendan's a great guy that I think I may like more than a friend."

"So?"

"Michele told me no player interactions at my first meeting with him. I really shouldn't have even gone out with Brendan tonight. I know that I have feelings towards him but I can't do anything about it if I want to keep my job," I answer with tears filling up in my eyes, I really need to go to sleep.

"Oh," Caden says as he walks over to me to give me a hug.

"Sorry, I need to stop and suck it up. Thanks for helping out Brendan tonight," I pull away from Caden's hug.

"Everything will work out Quincy don't worry," Caden tells me as he looks into my eyes.

"I know they will. I think I'm going to head to bed now okay?" I say as I head towards my room.

"Okay tomorrow's practice is at 11 and Graham called me and told me that we'll be doing charts," he says from behind me.

"Great," I say sarcastically. Once I get into my room I rip off my clothes and slip on shorts and a t-shirt before walking into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I climb into bed and immiediently fall asleep with Brendan and his smile still on my mind.

"Get up Quincy!" Caden shouts as he walks into my room and claps his hands.

"What time is it?" I ask with my eyes still closed and my sheets pulled up tight.

"9:30 and we need to leave in an hour."

"Alright I'll get up," I say as I get out of bed and follow Caden into the kitchen for food. I walk over to the pantry and grab a package of pop-tarts, chocolate chip flavored.

"What do you think you're eating?" Caden questions me.

"Pop-tarts," I answer as I turn to face him.
