"Are you all ready and packed??" My mom asks walking into my room, her hands wrapped up in a green and white kitchen towel.

"Yea pretty much. I'll only be gone for 2 days so packing is easy," I say zipping up my maroon suitcase which is sitting on my unmade bed.

"You're right, you're right. Just carry your suitcase downstairs when your ready and we'll load it into the car. We need to be leaving by 1:30," my mom says before walking back out of my door frame.

I look at my bedside clock and it reads '12:57'. I have about half an hour left to get everything together. My clothes and stuff is all packed, check, but I need to get my stuff together for the interview tomorrow. Getting my black Northface backpack from the corner of my room I put in my MacBook Pro, a notebook and pencil, my passport since I'll be heading out of the country, some gum-gotta have gum- and any other papers I think I might need. I zip up my backpack and move it to sit next to my suitcase on my bed. I check my outfit in my closet mirror- black lulu leggings, my blue Nike running shoes, a Canadiens sweatshirt and my back Northface vest. A cozy, comfortable outfit for a 6 hour plane ride. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail because it's just so easy, but today I decided to let it all down. My brown wavy hair sits a little shorter than half my back and all I do is tuck a piece of hair behind my left ear. Giving myself a check for my outfit and hair I grab my backpack from my bed and slip it onto my back while i start wheeling my suitcase behind me down the stairs.

"Bye Quincy have fun!! Make sure to bring me back something please," I hear Aaron say to me from the kitchen.

"Okay I will. Be good!" I shout back to him laughing as I open up the screen door so I can put my stuff in the car.

After throwing my suitcase and backpack in the trunk of my blue Toyota 4-runner I head back inside to get food for the plane ride before I leave. I check my phone for the time and it says '1:22'. I have about 10 more minutes. Back in the kitchen I go to our pantry and grab a protein bar for the plane. I already ate here so I'm not hungry now but I know I will be on the plane.

"You ready?" My dad asks from the kitchen counter.

"Yup!" I smile, getting really excited.

"Alright then let's get going so you have plenty of time," my mom says while grabbing her purse from a chair in the kitchen. My mom is driving with me to the airport because not only is it kinda far- Sacramento Airport is the closest major airport and its 50 minutes away- but also this way she can drive my car back so it doesn't sit in the airport lot for 2 days.
"Good luck!" My dad, Jack, and Aaron all shout to me. To answer I just give a thumbs up and start walking to the car. Let's go do this.

Okay I'm through security, through customs (since I'm going out of the country) and I'm currently sitting down at my gate waiting for my flight to start boarding. It's 2:30 right now and my plane should start boarding at 2:50, I hate waiting. Since I have 20 minutes to kill I decide to quickly go grab a coffee or something from Starbucks. By no means am I obsessed with Starbucks like some people, but I defiantly like a good drink once in a while.

"What can I get for you?" My barista asks.

"Ummm I'll take a tall iced coffee please," like I said before, I like to keep it simple.

"Name?" He asks.

"Quincy," I say while pulling the money out of my wallet.

After getting my drink I walk back to my gate because I only have 5 more minutes until the plane is supposed to be boarding. As soon as I get back to the gate I hear the announcement that A boarding passes are now boarding, my ticket reads A8. The only reason my ticket is so good is because the Canadiens bought it for me, thank you very much. I quickly get in line to start boarding, standing squished between a 60 year old man and a boy around my age-great!!!
