   Gajeel's breath stopped short as he admired his blue haired beauty. 2 years ago, if you would've told Levy or Gajeel that they'd be getting married, they'd laugh in your face. But here they are now.

   Natsu's arm was tucked in Levy's as he walked her down the aisle. Gray nudged Gajeel, smiling proudly at the dragon slayer. Meanwhile, on the other side of the red carpet, Lucy teared up before quickly blinking her eyes to keep her makeup from running. Juvia, behind her, looked like she was about to bawl herself.

   Finally, Natsu handed Levy off to Gajeel before standing behind the iron dragon slayer. He took Levy's hands in his, tears threatening to come to the surface in his own eyes. Master, who had no license whatsoever, began the ceremony.

~TIMESKIP BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW ALL THE INS AND OUTS OF A CEREMONY....~

   "Gajeel, do you have vows prepared?" Master asked. The studded man nodded before looking into Levy's giant hazel orbs. He exhaled, a smile tugging at his lips.

   "Levy, I can safely say that I never thought I'd get married one day, let alone to a beautiful Shrimp like yourself," the crowd 'awwwed'. "I made a promise to someone a while back, and not only will she kill me if I don't keep it," everyone chuckled.

   "But I will also be upset with myself if I don't keep it. Levy McGarden, soon to be a Redfox, I don't exactly have much, but I give it all to you anyway. I promise to always protect you, cherish you, and protect you in every way I can. That's a promise I intend to keep. I love you, Shrimp."

   After several 'awws' from the crowd again, Master turned to Levy, asking if she had vows prepared as well. The tiny woman nodded, swiftly wiping away a tear that didn't fall far from her eye.

   "Gajeel you know how I used to feel about you. It's funny that I'm marrying my worst nightmare, but I don't care, because you no longer scare me out of my wits. You give me joy and I don't feel safer in any place more than your arms. I can make a promise too. I promise to always stay by your side, because I love you too, Gajeel."

After another wave of 'awwws', Master's speech, and a couple tears, the bride and groom got to say the magic words.

"I do."

"I do."

"You may kiss the bride."

   Gajeel carefully and gently lifted Levy's vale before pulling her in for a soft kiss. The tiny woman hooked her arms around her new husband's neck. Lily, who had been adopted by Gajeel not too long ago, put a paw over Asuka's eyes. Everyone cheered, tears spilling from many pairs of eyes.

   When the new couple pulled away, Gajeel scooped Levy in his arms and ran down the aisle with the biggest smile anyone had ever seen.

~YES, ANOTHER TIMESKIP. TO DINNER, IF YOU PLEASE~ (why that was so sassy I have no idea)

   At the head table sat the new Redfox couple, the Dragneels, the Fullbusters, the Fernandes', Wendy, Romeo, and the exceeds. Not long after everyone received their food, Natsu stood up to make a toast. He clicked his spoon against his glass, accidentally smashing it in the process. A roar of laughter turned the dragon slayer slightly pink.

   "Ladies and Gentlemen of Fairy Tail, or neighboring guilds, thank you all for coming to the Redfox wedding. Levy has been the greatest friend/sister I could ever ask for. She's warmed the hearts of our guild since she joined, and she marries the idiot who smashed it all up." Natsu smiled as a series of chuckles rumbled through the crowd. Gajeel's smile disappeared, but quickly came back when Levy kissed his cheek.

   "Despite his bit of a, rough joining," Another short wave of chuckles. "I have no doubt that Gajeel will keep his promise, if not go above and beyond. TO GAJEEL AND LEVY!" Natsu shouted, raising his glass of champagne. All the adults joined in while the children raised cups of juice. Everyone clapped as the pink haired dragon slayer sat down.

   "That speech was beautiful Natsu." Levy smiled, complimenting the idiot. He smirked. "Thanks, it was-" "My speech that I wrote for the dope." Lucy cut in, shooting a playful glare at her husband. He pouted, complaining that she gave away the secret and his speech was then ruined. The table laughed and began to cut into their food.

   The celebration continued, with happy moments from Gajeel and Levy's first dance as a married couple, to sad moments when Juvia cried at the sight (though it was mostly alcohol induced) of the Redfox couple cutting into their wedding cake.

   At the end of the wedding, Gajeel and Levy crawled into the back of their limo that would take them home. Levy curled into her new husband's side, and he lifted his arm to pull her even closer. She looked up at him, smiling. "I love you, Gajeel." "I love you too, Shrimp."

   "I really did mean my promise, you know that, right?" Gajeel asked, looking down at his wife. Levy nodded, tears coming to her eyes again. "I loved every word of it. You mean a lot to me."

   They rode home, excited for adventures that would come their way. No matter what happens, however, Gajeel will stay by Levy's side and protect his tiny Shrimp. Because, at the end of the day, he loves her. She loves him. And they'll fight together through this crazy reality we call life. The Shrimp and her Dragon.

~~~~~~~~~~
Okay guys! That officially marks the end of 'The Shrimp's Dragon'! I loved this story, it was the first story that I didn't delete, but actually finish! Did you guys like the ending? I've never done them before, so please give me feedback on that, thanks!
Sorry it took a month (I seriously had no idea it had been that long, geez...) but I was so busy with play practice, Comic Con, homework, school, the usual excuse.
I'd like to thank you all for reading this story, it has over 500 reads!!!! WHAT????? Yeah, I know.
Without you guys this story would've gotten deleted too. So thank you again!
Again, was the ending okay? As Chuck (God) from Supernatural says, endings are hard, I mean, any monkey with a computer could type up a beginning. But endings? Hardest things ever. So let me know, how'd I do?
Thanks again guys, I love you!!
Next week (hopefully) I'll be publishing a new story called 'Magic High'. I hope you guys read that one, I'm so excited and I have so many ideas for it!
