GAJEEL'S P.O.V.
"I hope I proved myself to you." I growled at lightning bolt before limping off. I held my shoulder, I think the asshole dislocated it. I could practically feel the Shrimp's stare as I walked off. At the guild's infirmary Mira tended to me, while Juvia was practically ripping me open for information. "Gajeel-kun will tell Juvia-san what happened!" "Tell me, Gajeel-kun!" "Juvia-san needs to know!"
"Gajeeeel-kun!" "Shut it, Rain Woman!" I barked, finally shutting her the hell up. Juvia's a loyal friend, don't get me wrong, but oi."Alright Gajeel. I need to pop it back into place. On 3. 1," She popped it back. "Oi! What happened to 3?" Devil Woman giggled, smiling her stupid ass smile. "3." Then she left. Juvia frowned at me. "Gajeel-kun, tell me now." "No, I'm fine, thanks." "Gajeel-kun!" "Fine, Rain Woman. I'll tell you something."
Juvia instantly calmed down and sat at the foot of my bed. I sighed, running a hand through my hair with my uninjured arm. "I'm leaving Fairy Tail. Don't know where I'm goin' but it'll be anywhere but here." "NO!" Juvia jumped up. She was fuming. I nodded while looking at the floor. I new tears were flowing from her eyes and I just couldn't look at them. "Gajeel-kun will not leave Fairy Tail! J-Juvia-san won't let him! Please, Gajeel-kun! D-Don't leave!"
Apparently the swirls in the wooden floor panels were very interesting to me now. I can't look up. Not into her face, those crying eyes. We're best friends, I just. can't. "Gajeel-kun listen to Juvia-san! He'll end up somewhere worse than Phantom Lord without her! She just knows it! Gajeel-kun cannot go down that path again! Juvia-san won't let him!"
I stood up and hugged Juvia. "Goodbye Rain Woman." I whispered before letting go and walking out. Mira gave me a sad look. "I'm leaving." I mumbled and the insignia on my shoulder disappeared. The hall fell silent, watching me go. My hands were in my pockets as I walked down the street. Not sure where exactly I'm goin, as I said before, but it's somewhere bad, I know it is.
Then it started to rain. Damn it! Juvia's crying again! I don't know why, I'm nothin' special. It'll be better for her without me around. Hastily getting out of the rain I ran into the nearest building. It was a stupid ass bookstore. I would've gone back outside but it was raining harder. Damned woman. Instead I decided to hide in the back, away from the windows where my reputation wouldn't be ruined. Honestly, Black Steel Gajeel, in a bookstore? Yeah, I know.
In the back they had history books. Hey, might as well see if there's anything on Metalicana. Looking through the shelves, there was actually a lot of books on dragons. I found one on dragon slayers. Eagerly pulling it out I flipped through the pages. "Gajeel?" My head whipped to the right to see none other than Levy. Or Shrimp, as I would call her if I could.
Instead I quickly put the book back and looked bored. I heard her giggle. What the hell? Girls giggle at cute things, I'm not cute. I'm, well, I'm a monster. "What do you want?" "I-I don't know.." She mumbled, looking curiously at my shoulder. "What happened to your insignia?" I crossed my arms, she stayed put at the end of the aisle. She doesn't really care. Then why'd she ask? "I left Fairy Tail. Juvia's broken up about it, which is why it's pouring outside." "You left Fairy Tail?"
I brought my studded eyebrows together. "What's with all the damned questions?" Levy merely shrugged. To this, I frowned. "Whatever. It doesn't really matter, not like you care." "Well, if I don't care then it shouldn't matter if you tell me or not." She smiled, still slightly afraid. She subtly rocked on the balls of her feet. I snorted. "If you don't care then why would I waste my breath?"
Levy's smile disappeared. "Fine, don't tell me. You're right, I don't care. I'm glad you left. Don't talk to me." She stormed off without another word. Oh well. Why do chicks get upset over the littlest things? Honestly, jeez.
