Zelda shifted in her sleep and a soft groan slipped out through her lips.

In response, Link's arm tightened around her waist and he pulled her against his chest, tugging her gently out of her dreams.

"Are you alright?" he asked softly as he fought against the desire to slip back into sleep.

Zelda sighed in contentment and lowered her hand to rest against the arm wrapped comfortingly around her. "Yeah... Just a dream."

"Was it a nightmare?" he mumbled.

She slowly shook her head. "I don't think so... It was just strange... some weird caves..." she said, her voice slipping into nothing as she fell back asleep with her husband's arms around her.

-_-_-

At midmorning, there was a soft knock on their door.

Zelda's eyes opened to the noise, and she quickly turned to look at Link; he was still asleep. Yet as she looked at him she was filled with a pleasant fuzziness, and she smiled. Then she slipped out of the bed and went to the door.

It was Impa.

"Good morning," Zelda said with a smile.

Impa smiled back. "Good morning," she replied, and then her smile turned into a smirk. "Did you have a good night?"

The Princess laughed. "I did," she replied. "So, why are you here Impa?"

Impa's smile faded a bit. "Well, I was really only coming to check on you... But also... well, Leena has been missing since your reception yesterday."

"WHAT?"

Impa held up her hands. "She has probably just wandered off, and we have sent people to search the castle for her. I just thought I should let you know myself."

Zelda looked down at the floor and then nodded. "... Okay, so... What if they don't find her? Where could she have gone?"

"We won't think about that right now," Impa said firmly as she rested her hand on the worried princess's shoulder.

Zelda glanced up at her first mate, biting her lip. She'd just been told her eight-year-old sister was missing. Leena could be in danger and yet she was supposed to just wait? Her? Marrying hadn't made her a domestic housewife. She was still a pirate at heart, and doing nothing was infuriating.

Impa tightened her grip on her shoulder and then smiled. "She'll turn up," she insisted. "I'm sorry your day is now darkened, but Link will... your husband can console you in this."

Zelda pressed her lips together and then nodded. "Thanks for letting me know..." She closed the door and returned to the bed.

She examined her husband; he wasn't snoring, but he was sprawled out like a cat only halfway under the blankets and breathing deeply.

She shoved away her newfound worry with difficulty and then sat down on the edge of the bed. She held out her hand but then hesitated, for she was still a little... inexperienced when it came to the physical aspect of human interaction.

She stretched her hand the rest of the way and then barely drew her fingertips against the skin of his arm that was sticking out from under the blanket.

He twitched but he didn't wake up.

Such a sound sleeper... Zelda thought as she did the same move again but to no avail. She softly poked his face, but he only mumbled slightly and shifted about an inch away from the 'attack.'

After two minutes of poking and prodding, she grew weary of her game and walked around to her side of the bed. As she knelt beside him she thought about what to do to wake him up.
