Nor⭐️Cal

I woke up the next morning feeling just like any other morning. However, I was quick to notice not a single piece of clothing on me and Marquis right next to me with his back turned, sleeping soundly. Reaching over the edge of the bed, I gathered my clothes and slipped them back on without managing to wake Marquis up.

My body felt physically exhausted and drained. I saw the cup of water near by and then noticed all of his clothes on the floor where mine used to be. I slithered out of bed with a yawn to follow as I wandered to the bathroom. My hair an absolute mess but it was the small hickey just on the side of my neck that left me horrified.

I felt absolutely disgusted with myself. Never in my right mind would I have done that... and the fact I let myself just pop whatever pill he gave me is what made me all the more disappointed with myself. I knew better than all of this, yet look what I went and did. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror anymore, instead I turned on the sink. While the water was warming up, I started to brush my teeth. I started to remember the way the night went, not all of it but enough to where I could fill in the gaps to paint the entire picture. My stomach started to turn but I held it down for the sake of all that's good. Spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing out my mouth, the water was warm enough to my liking.

I splashed the water on my face and a little in my hair but it felt good. Bringing more water down to my neck, it soothed me to a degree. After a few more minutes of this, I grabbed the towel and dried my face. Walking back into the room, Marquis was now awake and sitting up on the bed already back in his clothes. His eyes made their way to me as I was approaching the bed. Making sure to remain at the foot of the bed while he was up towards the pillowed.

"Mornin'." He finally said in an even more tired voice than I thought he'd had. "You good?"

"What did you have us take?"

"Ecstasy." I just stared at him. "It wasn't to do anythin' with you. It was to get you to relax and let loose, as well as me but things go carried too far. I'm sorry for that."

"What were they laced with?"

"Hell if I know, I got 'em from Chasity back when y'all were both brought here. So you'd have to ask her but it obviously wasn't anything bad since you seem just fine." For all I know it could have been mixed with LSD or something hard because Chastity is a drug addict- that's mean of me to say it like that but it's true. "I'm gonna get back to my room to change, I'll leave your door unlocked so you can go to breakfast when you're ready, aight?"

"Thank you." I mumbled. He stood up and walked out of the room, gently closing the door behind him as I too stood up to rip off the sheets. I'm not laying in these sheets tonight- not after what happened. If I could I'd want to sleep in Chastity's room for a change but that's impossible because Quan is in there. Oh well, changing my sheets is just fine, for once I'm actually hungry for breakfast, based on my stomach growls at least.

I balled the sheets and blankets up as I carried them out of the room. Minding my own business, I passed by Quan who had no problems taking a second look my way. I got to the laundry room and tossed the sheets into a hamper for later. I think tonight I'm on kitchen duty but for all I know I could be told I'm doing laundry all afternoon since there was a lot of it.

When I was walking up the stairs, I tripped over one of the steps and fell right into the wall but this wall moved... I stared at it for a second and started to feel all along the wall. The hall to get up and down from the laundry room had no light because none of the men here bothered to fix it so I couldn't see anything. I felt a part that was carved out and pulled it, sliding a door open- I was staring right out into the outside world. I took a step out and felt the sun beam down on my skin, that fresh air filling my nostrils but it was short lived because I went right back inside. Closing the door before anyone else came down here to see my discovery.
