She sank to her knees
Her legs
Buckling under her
Her soft, satiny hair
Framed her face
In delicate waves
Waves that were weakened
Waves that were torn
Her eyes wide
Glassy
Motionless
Tiny, crystal clear
Pearls of
Salty, dried tears
Lined the edges
Of her dark lashes
Her arms dangling
Towards the floor
A hand placed on her heart
Fresh tears streamed
Down her cheeks
She didn't resist
The sobs
That escaped her
Anymore
Broken.
