******************************************

All of us heard the shriek of a girl from upstairs. And all of a sudden a girl and a boy came running through the stairs jumping three steps at a time. People in the dancing floor were stunned and the DJ brought the loud music to a sudden halt.

"Jessica is killed. Someone has killed Jessica." The girl kept shouting through sobs.

"Call nine eleven," the boy yelled, "quickly." "We need an ambulance."

The girl looked so pale and was about to collapse at any moment. The spectacled boy who seemed her boyfriend, tried to soothe her saying things like 'it's alright' and 'she'll be fine'.

Most of the boys ran upstairs and avoided girls from going there. The girl was sobbing continuously and had no strength to explain answers for the many questions that were directed to her.

After few minutes we heard a police siren and the sound of an ambulance. Jessica had died already according to the people who had seen her. She was stabbed with a kitchen knife.

The boys who went upstairs explained how she had been lying on the bathroom floor with oozing blood. It was very unpleasant to hear. Everyone wondered who might have done this kind of thing. It can't be someone invited. All of them knew each other pretty well.

But within few minutes people noticed two boys were missing from the scene. One was my favourite "Note the sarcasm" Liam Cooper. The other one was that blond haired boy, Mike, as I got to know. Both of them were missing. Nobody has seen them for few hours. Everyone was shocked. But no one believed they did this. They thought they might have gone somewhere together or separately. It was until the police began their investigations.

It became quite a blow to everyone. The investigations confirmed Mike Barton was the murderer of Jessica Thompson, which turned into the news of the month. Everyone who knew them couldn't believe it.

"He says that he don't remember doing it," said Adam while we were having tea with uncle Hank and Aunt Mary. "He only remembers he was going upstairs with Jessica. She was his hook for that night. Everyone knows she's a slut."

"Mind your words, Adam." Uncle Hank warned.

"I'm just stating the facts," replied Adam with a shrug.

"And where was that other boy had been?" Aunt Mary asked. "One you thought missing?"

"Liam? Oh, he had gone home for a moment. He had felt sick and had thrown up. So he had gone home without telling any of us." Adam said.

Just then my phone beeped indicating a new text message. It was from Jesse. Two days since I last heard from him. Since then I couldn't contact him. Whenever I tried to call him a record said that the phone is switched off. I read the text eagerly. He wanted to meet me immediately. He had apologized about having to switch off his phone too.

I texted him saying we can meet at our usual place at four. He replied me with a smiley face. I wondered why he wanted to meet me in a hurry. The only way was to wait until we meet.

"I have to tell you something, Sue." Jesse was serious. He didn't have his usual breathtaking smile on his face. We were walking along the long golden beach. His grim expression made me feel a little nervous.

"What's it?" I asked calmly without showing my uneasiness.

"You have to be careful." He blurted.
