What the heck a murderous demon wants to do with me? I wondered sitting on my bed. This is not one of my favourite experiences. I really hated whenever my peaceful sleep got disturbed. I cuddled my pillow thinking hard. All the murders were confirmed to be done by some ordinary people like Mike Barton or that kid. Police could find enough evidence to prove their guilt.

The next day was rather tiring for me. One: I was mentally weak thinking about the things happening. Two: I couldn't sleep well last night. Three: Aunt Mary wanted me to help with her gardening. The whole day I spent shovelling, raking, planting, pruning and watering. I never was a fan of outdoor things. At home I rarely helped with that kind of things. But this time, I had to help.

On the other hand, Lisa found the occurrence as a great shock. She had completely given up the idea of throwing parties. Her parents have forbidden it, too. Jessica Thompson hadn't been particularly friendly with anyone. Nobody missed her especially.

During the past week Jake and Nick came closer as friends. They came to meet Adam frequently and I had more common things to talk with them. The other thing was that Nick was trying painstakingly to win Lisa's heart. Nick was popular because he was the top football player at the college despite his small built. Recently Lisa broke up with her boyfriend. Nick always had a crush on her. Though everything was set right he had one problem. Lisa did not like him at all!

Mom and dad called me too; they had another week to come back. I wondered if Akuma would follow me back to Eastwood Hill. Eastwood Hill is my hometown where I spent my whole life since I was born. It was a small town underneath a beautiful mountain range. I went to the Eastwood Hill High which only had about five hundred students altogether.

"Sue," Aunt Mary said in a grave voice.

I haven't seen her in a serious mood in my life before. Her tone made me feel uncomfortable. We were sitting on the large recliner sofa in their living room. She had invited me for a little talk while I was reading a book at the window seat by my bed.

I'm a huge fan of books since the early days of my childhood. My mother bought me books when I was a kid and I loved them more than the usual girls' stuff like dolls and teddies. Basically, I grew up with them. I spent most of my free time reading or at times, painting.

"I have something to tell you." She said softly.

I listened to her without saying anything. It's not going to be something to be happy about, my subconscious mind told me. I prayed silently.

"Your mother called me." Aunt Mary paused. "She wanted me to pass a bad news to you."

"Your father has taken a mortgage loan few years ago. He has faced few problems over the years. Now, finally, your parents have to sell all their properties to pay the loans and cover things." Aunt Mary had a tear drop at the corner of her eye.

At first my mind was vacant. Nothing came to my mind. Then suddenly it crossed my mind. We have lost everything. EVERYTHING. We will have to restart our lives.

"He should have told us." Aunt Mary shook her head. "Your father was always like that, thinks he could manage everything.

Your mother wants to come here. I told her to. They can start everything again. Uncle Hank and I will be there if your father does something foolish like that again. He can change his job. Your mother can find a job here. You can go to the university with Adam. Uncle Hank will be able to help with transferring."

The thought of leaving Eastwood Hill gave me a headache. I'll have to depart from my childhood friends, neighbours and I will miss the huge green mountains and damp forests. They were a part of my life. I never got tired with the living greenery and the sparkling waters. Now I'll have to forget my past and restart my life. I'll have to work hard. I'm sure of one thing, with all these troubles popping up; my life is going to be miserable.
