During Clay's escape of the mountain

Terrin  found out immediately the mistake he made being by himself.

For one, it was really terrifying. After all, having something out there, something that could eat you in one bite, kill you in one slice.

It wasn't that comforting.

The roaring would continue every ten minutes or so, then stop a minute later. But it seemed to be coming from the same direction each time.

Finally, about an hour later of nonstop hiking, Terrin Was ready to go back. He hadn't found anything that caught his eye. The roaring had stopped a while before, and it was getting late...or early, depending on if you considered that it was a new day. The sun was rising, two of the moons visible in the navy blue sky.

Just as he was turning around, There was a bellowing ROOOAAAR that sounded  in front of him. Terrin Immediately ducked into a bush for cover and looked right in front of him, but saw nothing.

What in the world? Terrin thought confusingly. He was sure there was something nearby.

Then, something in the sky caught his eye; something red, big, and with wings.

A dragon!

Terrin eyed the beast closely, watching its movements. It seemed to be in pain, trying to get away from something, but what...oh! Terrin saw a white dragon come into view, speeding right at the red dragon.

Then, the white dragon opened it's mouth, and a storm of ice hailed down on the red dragon.

Terrin was blinded for a moment by the sunlight reflecting on the ice. He covered his eyes for a moment, then looked back up. The boy gasped, in complete shock.

The red dragon was encased in clear ice, it's face twisted in a mid-roar. It was either already dead, or was going to freeze soon.

Calm down! Terrin told himself, taking a few breaths. His stomach lurched, making him gag.

The white dragon's head snapped towards Terrin the moment he gagged, it's icy glare right on him. There was a pause of silence, the two staring at each other, one scared, the other probably confused.

Please don't eat me, please don't eat me.

Then, the white dragon huffed a spray of misty ice crystals, turned, and rose its wings into the air, flapping away, not bothering to look back at him, disappearing into the mountainous horizon.

Terrin stood there for a moment, trying to comprehend what happened. His memory then focused onto the frozen red dragon and he slowly crept up to face the block of ice, ready to flee if the creature somehow managed to escape. Although it was probably not going to happen, it was better to be safe than sorry.

The dragon's color was bluer than when Terrin first saw it, probably a result of being encased by the cold ice. It seemed to have a pained expression, too, as if it had emotion...

You're crazy, Terrin! he told himself, shaking his head. Dragons are just animals...like cows or fish. they only exist.

But then, why does it look as if this dragon felt fear before it died? Can it mean they have emotions then? It sounded crazy. However, then again, no one had even found out how dragons breathed fire -let alone, ice- either, so maybe it was possible.

He was so preoccupied with these thoughts that Terrin didn't see the shadows casting from behind him until it was too late; the next thing he knew, Terrin was on the ground, pinned by something large and deadly.

It was another Red dragon, face-to-face with him. The creature growled, looking down at him, eyeing his sword, then tossing it twenty feet away from him.

Terrin shouted loudly as he had been trained to do in this kind of situation, trying to scare the dragon away, but it was useless; in fact, it seemed almost as if the dragon looked amused, it's mouth curling into a toothed smile.

The dragon looked at him, then at the frozen dragon, back and forth as if he thought Terrin was responsible for killing their friend (Or whatever "friendship" dragons had).

"I didn't do it!" Terrin defended, wondering if the dragon could perhaps understand him.

The dragon looked up, noticing a third dragon arrive, a muddy brown one. It landed a few feet from the other one, growling to the red dragon a few times, followed by the red replying.

The two glared at Terrin, making him feel uncomfortable. It felt as if they were deciding his fate.

Please go, please go, please go, Terrin thought, his heart racing. Don't kill me! I don't want to die!

Then, the Red dragon roared something to the brown dragon, who nodded, then turned and flew away, back the way he came. The red dragon lifted his talons off of Terrin for him to stand up, but immediately grabbed his shoulders the moment he was standing, lifting Terrin into the air.

"Hey! What the heck?!" Terrin shouted, trying to loosen the red dragon's grip. His attempts were useless though, his captor simply tightening their grasp to silence him.

Where is he taking me? Terrin wondered, unsure of what was going to happen to him. Then, it clicked.

He knew where they were going.

Oh no he thought, dread filling his body. Not there!

Hours later, Terrin saw it. A villiage in the mountains, but not a human one.

The Red dragon Mountain.
