Chapter 10

Capricia's P.O.V

Last night till after midnight Dino and I spent talking on what all would I need to find this person. Apparently Dino had used tracking devices, spies, called a hacker but all had failed. This guy was sounding like a myth.

I was able to take a small nap before needing to wake up and work. I thought about professionalism and decided to wear black slacks and a baby pink shirt leaving me hair open. I took my laptop and headed down the hallway to the library. The library was huge and beautiful.

Dino was standing there with Rafa, Enzo, Nikolai, Silvano, Paulo and two three more guys.

"Morning guys" I said making everyone aware of my presence.

"Morning Kat" replied Rafa. While others just nodded and ignored. I walked up to Dino and put my laptop on the desk before him.

"Did you get what I wanted?" I asked and he nodded towards Enzo, Rafa and Nikolai. The bend own and lifted up three boxes.

"Information" said Nikolai and this was the first time I heard him talk. He had a smooth ladies man type of voice. I might have a crush on his voice.

"My other request?" I pointed out walking over to the boxes with Manila folders which had date, place and time printed over them. Dino snapped his fingers and the two bodyguard guys walked outside. They came back inside with two dogs. A golden Labrador retriever and a grey Northern Inuit.

"Hi, who's a good boy??" I cooed and walked over to the dogs and squatted down to be eye level with them. I noticed that the Northern Inuit had a name tag but the lab didn't.

"Hey doesn't he have a name?" I turned around and asked.

"The Labrador is a trained sniffer. The called them by number" said Paulo. He must have been the one to get both of them. No name? That's sad.

"Then I am naming you Simba, the lion king" I said.

"That's a long name and an odd name" said Rafa.

"Look at his paws. Lion like paws, he is definitely a Simba. And you are Juno. Aren't you?" I asked the Northern Inuit and he barked.

"I can't wait to see the look on Maria's face" said Rafa.

"Shut up" said Dino getting all defensive.

"Why so?" I asked patting both the dogs on their heads. My black slacks already had hair on it.

"She is afraid of Dogs. She told us that when she was 5, she was bit by one and have to take fourteen vaccinations" said Rafa.

"Sit boys" I said.

"Did you just command us?" said Paulo.

"I meant the dogs you idiot" I said and pointed to the dogs who had already obeyed my command.

"Enough. I only want Rafa and Paulo with Kat. Others can go back to doing their daily work" said a little pissed off Dino. He snapped his fingers and everyone quickly filed out. I switched on my laptop and logged in quickly.

"Hey help me here" I said as I tried to pick up a box.

"You can point a gun at me but you need help lifting a box? Really Kat?" said Dino in a very sarcastic tone. Rafa and Paulo helped me as I took out all the Manila folders and arranged then first according to date. Then tried to see the common venues. I found two a restaurant and a bank.

"What restaurant is this?" I asked showing the picture from one of the restaurant file.

"Their famous restaurant. They don't have all illegal businesses. That is one of them we know about. They might have more under different owner names" Rafa informed me.
