Harry
Once I reached downstairs I was received by a pair of blue eyes looking straight at my way. I tried to avoid any contact with her eyes.
Cara chuckled "You won't escape from me, Styles" she stepped closer to me, "I know what you're doing, and that's fucked up"
How could she possibly know about it? No one knows. That's just between me and Aaron.
"What do you know about it?" such an hypocritical question I asked.
She laughed a bit and walked past me, I turned around to look at her "If you break her heart, I'll break your bones, Styles" she said running her thick fingers through her blonde hair "I thought you liked her"
I sighed "I do, I mean, I don't know. I think that I just like her because Aaron wants her, truth is that, Kendall is different from everyone but," I shrugged before speaking up again "I don't know"
"I don't care, if you break her heart then you should consider yourself as a dead man" she flashed a smile full of innocence that was completely false, she turned around in her heels and walked upstairs.
I shook my head slightly before heading to the front door to walk out of the house that out of nowhere felt extremely small.
"Harry," I heard Liam call out my name, I ignored him and opened the door, I know that he is gonna follow me. He is being protective over Kendall and I really need to explain everything to him.
Once I walked out of the house the fresh air hit my bare arms, I inhaled the fresh scent and felt relieved, Liam walked behind me and stood up next to me.
"I know you heard me" I spoke silently and looked up to the sky that was full of stars. It reminded me of the first friendly talk I had with Kendall, two days before her father's wedding, she was wearing a beautigul grey dress that suited her perfectly.
Liam took a deep breath "Why, Harry? Why Kendall?" he asked, I know how much she matters to him. He really sees her as the little sister he lost when he was six years old.
"I didn't start this time, Li. It was Aaron, I accepted but believe me that I did it just because I know that he would hurt her even more. I'll try to win but just because I don't want her to end up you know, hurt and empty like all the girls that have been in this game" I said, honesty was the only thing I felt while these words slipped out of my mouth.
He placed his hand on my shoulder "Are you being honest?" Liam asked.
I turned my gaze to look at him "You're my brother, Liam, I would never lie to you"
"Harry, Kendall is basically like Cami. She is so fragile and I don't know, if Cami was alive I feel like she would be like Kendall" Liam confessed and I felt weird. I'm not good at comforting people.
"She is dead" I coldly replied "How could you even know how Camille would look? She died when she was like a year or less old"
I shoved my hand in my jeans back pocket, taking a cigarrette pack out of it, I held it up and Liam took two. I saved it back again, he handed me one of the cigarretes that he had already lit up.
"Cheers" I silently said.
The warm smoke filled my lungs and somehow I felt relieved. I usually don't smoke, that's not what I do, but sometimes I need it.
"You know, maybe I want to protect Kendall because she knows how it feels so lose someone so close to you" Liam spoke in between times he smoked.
"What do you mean?" I asked a bit confused. What does Liam means by that? Maybe one of her grandparents died when she was younger and she got affected by it. She has never said anything about it.
