"Kendall, stop complaining you bitch! You look amazing" Glenne complimented the dress that she picked for me to wear at the event that is happening tonight. I rolled my eyes at her lifting my arm up giving her the middle finger.
"I can't take pictures with such a tight dress" I said frowning.
She rolled her eyes and walked over to me, fixing my hair that was curled in a messy natural way, a few months ago I decided to cut my hair, it is way shorter than it was before, a little bit above my shoulders.
I look at myself in front of the mirror it was actually a beautiful white dress.
"I don't know" I bit my bottom lip, as I examined myself once again, it was just above my knees, it was a plain dress, the sleeves of the dress were long but it made me look casual and actually like a real business woman, the grey high heels made me look taller and I actually liked it.
I looked at myself in the mirror and then back at the outfit that I was planning to wear that was laying on the couch, a black pencil skirt and a white button up blouse.
My make up was perfectly done by some stylist called Ariel, he is Glenne's friend. It was natural but the eyeshadow made my eyes look lighter and a bit bigger, the red lipstick made my whole face glow, damn I shouldn't be so full of myself. It's okay to feel pretty though.
"Fine," I gave up sighing "I'll wear it"
She clapped her hands and smiled at me "I knew you would agree!" She is way too happy, it's scary.
My phone starts to make an obnoxious sound indicating me that I have a request to FaceTime, from obviously, Cara. Glenne leaves the room and I press the green icon on the screen, I'm greeted by the pair of blue eyes that I miss so much.
"Dude! Where are you going you look so cute!" She exclaims smiling, God I miss her so much.
I smile at her "Nowhere, just to take some pictures at an important party"
"Oh," she smirks and shakes her head laughing "I need to tell you something important" she says, she is serious now, her blonde hair is messy and I bet that she just woke up, of course it's four in the morning in London.
"Spill"
She sighed and closes her eyes for a minute, "Harry is in New York"
I feel my heartbeat getting quicker, somehow hearing that makes me extremely happy but nervous at the same time, I mean, it's extremely dumb though, this is a huge city, we would never see each other, he is probably staying with one of his friends.
"Okay?" I ask as if I didn't care, I do. I care.
Cara sighs again rolling her eyes "Kendall, don't act like you don't care please, I'm your best friend be honest with me"
"I'm okay Cara, plus I told you to not talk about him anymore" I smile, I look around the room to make the impression that someone just asked to talk to me "I have to go, I'll call you later" I end the call and block my phone, saving it in my purse.
Harry is here. He is right here in New York. I miss him so much, God I want to talk to him, to tell him that I'm sorry for what I did and ask him to take me back, but I can't. I fucking can't.
Someone knocks on the door making me jump a little, I turn around to meet Jeff "Are you ready?" He asks, a small smile on his face, I nod at him.
"Is it starting already?" I feel like passing out right here, I don't know why. God, I'm so dumb for overthinking shit that obviously won't happen.
