(Y/n) went into the Kitchen and took out a cup of warm water, she handed it to Sasaki slowly. The cup had a small rabbit design in the front.
"I should probably get you something to wear just for now", (y/n) said as she shot up and rushed out.
"You don't need to you know!" Sasaki shouted.
"No, it's okay", she walked back out with a long sleeve t- shirt.
"Here you go, it use to be my dads but he only wore it like once", (y/n) said with a smile. Sasaki placed the cup down and took the shirt from her.
"Just turn left and walk straight ahead, you'll see the bathroom", (y/n) said as she watched him get up and walk away.
--(y/n)'s POV---
I've forgotten to put away the research. (y/n) went into the her room and flipped her table containing information about the ccgs, aogiri tree and past history about certain ghouls. she locked it in place, hidden away from others vision. She went into the kitchen taking the half broken cup down from the display cabinet. It still had the slight gleam as the light reflected off it.
"Ah (y/n) it seems too be a bit too big for me", Sasaki said standing at the doorway. He looked up at the girl in front of him.
Surprised, the cup fell from her hands and hit the black tiles. The porcelain cup cracked to pieces.
Sasaki looked down and his eyebrows furrowed as if he was thinking about something. (y/n) eyes widened.
"Ah I'm so clumsy, you frightened me a bit,I'll just clean this up", (y/n) panicked, she rushed and tried to pick up the pieces cutting herself along the way.
--Sasaki's POV-
'That cup looks, very familiar, don't I have cup with the same colors'
(y/n) sprouted something and went to pick up the glass, they cut her fingers but she still continued to gather them up.
"(y/n) you've cut yourself!" Sasaki walked closer to her trying to give her some aid.
"No! go away!" she shouted, her hands flung behind her. Sasaki had a mixture of confusion and irritation inside of him.
"You're hurt, let me help you", he said.
"No, just....wait outside", she said avoiding eye contact. Sasaki had never seen her like this before, he walked outside and sat back down onto the sofa.
--back to (y/n) POV----
(y/n) watched the cuts seal up by itself, leaving the clear, original skin she had before.
'How did these weak glass pierce through my skin?'
She picked a piece and observed it carefully, finding nothing she gathered the pieces and placed them in a tin box.
(y/n) opened the first aid cabinet, grabbing a few band aids and a small bottle of red dye that resembled blood. She wrapped the white band aids around her fingers before putting a small amount of dye on the top of each one. She made a cup of coffee for Sasaki, feeling a bit of regret for shouting at him.
(Y/n) walked back out, she handed the cup of coffee and bowed apologetically.
"Sorry for shouting, I was just surprised", Sasaki looked at where the bandaids that were wrapped around her fingers and hand.
"They don't hurt do they?" he asked. (y/n) shook her head and she spread her hands out like a fan.
"Nope, they don't at all", she smiled. (y/n) sat down besides Sasaki. They both didn't say anything, the atmosphere was getting a little uncomfortable.
"Ah, I don't think the rain will be stopping anytime soon", Sasaki said with a slight disappointed chuckle.
"Yeah, you would probably need to stay here over night", (y/n) said gleefully before she slammed her mouth shut.
'I didn't just say that did I? ahhh damn, I'm so use to Hinami being here that I had mistaken him for her for a second there, what do I do now...'
(y/n) looked over at Sasaki from the corner of her eye, he had a slight shade of red on his cheeks and an awkward grin. (y/n) knew what he was thinking, probably something along the lines, did I mishear something? She probably meant something else. (y/n) looked away thinking of a way to take herself away from this difficult situation.
"I-I was just joking!, ahaha", she laughed forcefully. His facial expression changed to his usual one, sighing heavily.
'That expression change, heehee...I'm going to have some fun'
"Actually... I was lying about that I do want you to stay", (y/n) said with a smile. Sasaki's face changed back to the surprised expression. (y/n) could feel herself laugh inside. He was so easy to read. It was fun to tease him.
"I was just lying about that", (y/n) said waving her hands in front of her. He sighed again.
"But, I do want to be with you tonight, it can be anywhere, I don't mind, I just want to be with you", (y/n) whispered.
she leaned in closer to Sasaki and he closed his eyes, his face bright red. She flicked him on the head with her fingers.
"Ahaha, you are very easy to read", she laughed leaning back onto her side.
"Your jokes are awful..." he said with a disapproval look. They both looked back out the window.
"The rain really isn't going to clear up is it?" he said.
"Yeah, you probably do need to stay here today," (y/n) said.
"Again?" Sasaki questioned.
"What? I really do mean it this time, you can sleep in the guest room or something", she replied as she stood up, "follow me".
They both stood in front of a cupboard in front of (y/n)'s room.
"Uhh...is there something in there or something?" Sasaki questioned as he side glanced at(y/n).
"What do you mean, you're gonna sleep in it because it's large enough to fit in a quilt," she replied with a gleaming smile.
"But...I'm a guest, shouldn't you be saying something like 'you can take my bed, I'll sleep on the couch for today", Sasaki explained, "then I'll go like 'oh no, I should sleep on the couch'".
(y/n) stared at Sasaki blankly "but couches are uncomfortable and...this isn't some cliche romantic anime".
"What?"
"Nothing...anyways I haven't got anywhere else, my bed isn't something I really enjoy sharing, I apologies," (y/n) apologetically.
Sasaki sighed before agreeing. (y/n) laughed in reply.

EDIT: welp im back, I guess? I wrote this a while ago but forgot to publish it. I don't know if I'm going to continue writing... I mean look at that 1 year hiatus......sorry...Maybe one day I'll come back to finally finish this story. Till then don't expect too much cause I'll feel really bad for not writing. :(
