Chapter: 20- His House
(A/N: Wow can I start by saying chapter 20?! I mean wow, I never thought I'd be able to write 20 chapters, let alone 5 so this is a big, big accomplishment! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter!)

This whole thing was crazy. Standing in front of Pierce's house I waited as the door bell rang. Even though it was Friday and we'd made plans to study together, I still hadn't come with Pierce to his house immediately after school. I had went home grabbing his birthday gift as I decided to just skip his birthday and stay home pretending to be sick after this. I totally wasn't strong enough to endure all the stress he put on my heart.
All you have to do is hand him the gift and politely tell him you cant make it to celebrate his birthday tomorrow. Tell him a family emergency came up or something, at worst just tell him you didn't feel up to coming, I mean it's really not that big of a deal at all if you think about it. Sighing I jerked in surprise as Mr. David answered the door. He was looking at his watch as his keys were in his hand, before he looked up at me,
"Oh, Zoey how nice of me to run into you! Well sorry, an emergency came up and I have to go, see you tomorrow?" Smiling at him I nodded before walking into the house, glad to escape the cold. I had stupidly only wore a thin hoodie and with the signs of winter just around the corner I don't know what was the stupidest choice, wearing this, or even bothering to come today. I don't know what it is, but just like always Pierce unnerved me, a lot.
Closing the door behind Mr. Piece I was there just long enough to see him hurry towards his car, talking into his phone as he simultaneously buttoned his black suit jacket. I was also captivated as, as soon as he entered the car it began to snow. The first snow of the season, wow. It wasn't anything to worry about, just a light sprinkling you could barely tell was there and not worrying I shrugged. I was sure I'd make it back home before it turned into anything serious.
I was quickly frightened when as soon as I closed the door all the way, a pair of arms came out from behind me, locking the lock and enveloping me in the warmth of their embrace. I froze, not knowing if I should lean into their embrace, or pull way.
"P-Pierce, what a-are you doing?" He chuckled, the vibration tickling my back as he pulled me tighter towards him.
"Nothing Zoe, now, what do you have there?" He nodded towards the black bag I had brought with me, it standing out as being the only thing I was really holding in my hands as my backpack was back at home. Instead I had chosen to pack only the necessary things I needed for today in a small jean blue tote bag I had.
I shyly moved the bag away from him, shocked when he immediately pulled me even closer to his hard chest, resting his chin on the top of my head. "It's really nothing Pierce...just something I'll give you later."
I felt when he nodded his head, and seemingly satisfied with my answer, he let me go, stepping away and finally giving me the much needed space I craved.
"So let's go and get to work." Nodding my head at him I started towards the dining table where we always studied, only to be confused when Pierce started heading up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" The question was innocent enough, as I was honestly confused as to where he was heading. Smirking Pierce gazed at me, his glasses sliding down a little as he tilted his head to the side.
"To my room. Come on." And then he turned and hurried up to his room, not even waiting for my reply. Being forced to hurry after him I took the stairs two at a time, feeling left out as I had no room for the decisions being made. It was tough, climbing the stairs with his present in one hand and a tote bag on my shoulder, but I could deal.
It wasn't like Pierce had offered me help anyways, he was too busy running to his room. By the time I reached the familiar landing where I saw his room, Pierce was standing there impatiently, leaning against his door.
"Took you long enough. Come on." He rushed me into the room, and I took a moment to take in the familiar black design of the room. Everything was the same as last time and turning around I saw just as Pierce finished locking the door with his dreaded key.
I was standing there awkwardly, still holding onto my bags and thinking to just forget it I quickly walked to the corner of his room, depositing the bags there.
I don't know why but the corner of the room made it seem like I was making less of a mess when I sat things down there. It's a normal thing, I swear.
When I turned around after the bags had been set down, I jumped in fright. Pierce was standing right behind me, a smirk on his face, his eyes were trained downwards, like all the way downward.
"Pierce what are you looking at?" Following his sight of gaze I looked down realizing it led straight to my waist. Wait a minute, there's no way he...I looked up at the smirk on his face. There's totally a way he was. "Oh my gosh, Pierce you really just weren't looking at what I think you were looking at, right?
Looking at me Pierce smirked once again. And there it was, he had just proved I was right, but oh just how much I was wishing I was wrong. I had officially just caught my...boyfriend staring at my...um...behind.
There I said it, it wasn't as bad as I thought, but now my face was completely beet red, and I was trying to hide by backing myself up against the wall. I thought it was a good idea since he wouldn't be able to see anything with his perverted eyes when I was against the wall, but again I wasn't really thinking as he just cornered me against the wall.
"What's wrong? It's perfectly normal for your boyfriend to be attracted to you."
"D-don't say that!" My face was turning even redder and my hands went up to cover my face.
"What? That I'm attracted to you?" Pierce laughed and I could just imagine the smirk on his face right now.
"Yes! That, don't say that...please." I didn't even know why this was making me embarrassed everyone did it at one part of their life, but for some reason when Pierce did it, it made really self-conscious.
"OK I won't say it again." I sighed in peace, taking my hands down from my face only to be shocked that he was leaning down towards me, I should've been frightened, really he had that stupid smirk plastered on his face again and it unsettled me...a lot. "Instead I'll show you in a different way."
Grinning Pierce leaned down until his lips were hovering in front of mine. My heart was beating so fast, and I was sure my breathing was just as fast and heavy. Staring up at Pierce's eyes my breath caught in my throat at the hungry look I saw there. He had pushed me against the wall, leaning his hands on the wall, effectively trapping me within his grasp.
And then without words he smirked at me, before he leaned down closing the distance between us and pressing his lips against mine.
