Sayuri's POV
---
It's March now. Tamotsu tells me that the choir teacher is retiring at the end of the month, which is kinda weird seeing as how we have several months left until this school year ends. Eh, I can think into it more later.
So now that it's March, it's officially been seven months since I met Tamotsu. In that time, a lot of crap happened. More than I care to repeat here, because you all don't deserve to know things like that. It's dark and weird, and now I have all these secrets turning in my mind, and I don't know what to do with them.
Tamotsu and I walk through the park just behind Yasu's. The flowers are blooming, and the spring birds are back and singing. It's a beautiful day, and I have plans.
"So, nice day, huh?" I start. Tamotsu nods, a smile growing on his face. Perfect. Now that Kokoa is out of town for a while, I can swoop in and steal Tamotsu. It's clear she likes him, but, y'know, I liked him first.
"Perfect weather." He agrees with me, yay!
"So, Tamotsu..." I wring my hands. "I have a question to ask you."
"Hm? What is i-"
Suddenly, a man dressed in tattered and worn clothing jumps out of a bush. His face is filthy and his beard is overgrown. "Y-You..." he breathes.
"Me?" Tamotsu points to himself.
"YEAH, YOU, THE KID WITH THE BARBIE EYES!!" he screams. Tamotsu's violet eyes narrow hatefully.
"What do you want?" he demands.
The guy lifts a gun to Tamotsu. "You're the kid who ruined my life. And now you're gonna die. Barbie-eyes."
The gun fires.
And Tamotsu falls to the ground.
And now...
I'm alone.
