LEXIIIIII ㅠㅠ─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
lexi let out an irritated huff as she stared at her phone. the little '7' on the corner of each text disappeared completely so she knew for a fact that they were reading it. whatever, she thought, sulking. if they didn't want to listen to what she had to say, then they'll just have to deal with finding out later on.
she stood up, leaving her phone on her desk before plopping down on her bed. she grunted when she felt the crinkle of paper under her and took a glance at what she'd just accidentally sat on: a plane ticket to south korea.
she smiled. her parents had moved years ago since their jobs required them to be there. xander was still in college and lexi in high school when their parents first broke the news that they had to move, and the two siblings refused to leave america. it left the family no choice but to live separate for the time being but xander and lexi were doing fine on their own. lexi never wanted to admit it but xander was a pretty good legal guardian when he wanted to be.
now, their parents insisted that they visit korea again for spring break, and lexi was excited beyond words.
"ALEXANDRAAAAA!"
she flinched at the loud voice coming from none other than her older brother as he practically flew into her room.
"what?" she asked, not bothering to sit up.
"did you read your ticket yet?" xander took a seat next to her, reaching for the ticket and waving it in front of her face.
"nope."
xander clicked his tongue.
"you're irresponsible."
"guilty as charged."
"yah, read it, dummy!" he said, throwing the ticket at her.
lexi yelped when the ticket hit her on the forehead. she sat up, throwing a nasty stare at her older brother.
"that was unnecessary," she said. "and we have a couple days before the flight anyway so i have all the time in the world."
"a couple days?" xander repeated incredulously. "we're literally leaving in two!"
lexi blinked.
"what?"
"we leave on saturday, you idiot! we have to be at the airport at five a.m."
"oh." lexi sat dumbfounded as she vaguely recalled that she hasn't packed anything at all for the trip yet.
"yeah, oh." xander rolled his eyes. "anyway, mom says she's calling later to make sure you're packing correctly so get started."
"i have started."
"oh, yeah? then what's that empty suitcase doing over there?"
"...shut up."
xander flicked her on the forehead. lexi screamed and he cackled, practically skipping his way out of her room as she yelled after him.
before he got out the door though, he stopped and looked back once more with a grin on his face.
"also, jinhee says hi."
then the door slammed close.
lexi laughed. xander was always so excited whenever his girlfriend jinhee was involved. they'd met a couple years back when the siblings first visited their parents and since then, xander had only gotten even louder and more easily excitable than he already was (which no one even knew was possible to begin with). it was tiring living with him, but lexi was glad he found someone that could make him that happy.
lexi's phone vibrated again. she glanced at it quickly.
