You didn't want to go, you wanted to stay where you belonged. Home. Your brain didn't give you any signals to move, your heart was aching bad. You did not want to go.
Instead of moving, you stayed in the bright living room, you observed the small pictures that were placed around the room. Pictures that said more than words. You and your dad, Harry. In the park, you had a bright smile placed on your face as his strong arms kept pushing the light blue swing. His eyes were shining in a lovely way, as they used to do before you screwed things up.
The other picture was of you in the old kitchen, christmas baking. Your hair was placed in a messy bun, your eyes were focused on the tall man infront of you. He wore a grey sweater and black skinny jeans. To judge by the looks of the picture, he was explaining something to you and you were listening to every word he was saying. It was you and your dad, thirteen years ago.
The third picture was a family picture from a family vacation in Mexico, the blue ocean was behind you. You were held by your dad and your mum was smiling happily beside him, you looked happy. It's the way it's supposed to be. They were supposed to be happy, you were supposed to be happy, family Styles was supposed to be happy.
As the pictures brought back memories the tears started to build up again, the memories you had with your parents were unforgettable. You were aware of what you had done, it all started with jealousy and not getting attention. All of you had done something wrong, but you were willing to take the blame for it all.
"Pictures bring back memories, huh?" said a deep voice, you nodded slowly but your head kept hanging. Mostly in shame.
"Look at me babe" he said. You felt his eyes burn on you, but you couldn't manage to look at him. Not yet. You had been the worst daughter ever. He didn't deserve this.
"Y/N, darling. Look at me" you observed and analyzed the words. You got slightly shocked when you felt his fingertips under your chin, pulling it upwards.
No words were spoken, tears were streaming down your face. You wished you had the words with you. You wanted to apologize so badly, and tell him how you intention was never to hurt him. But you couldn't open your mouth to speak. His eyes were soft, the anger had vanished and the paleness remained the same.
"It's not supposed to be like this Y/N. I am not supposed to send away my daughter, I am running away from a problem instead of solving it. I am known for doing this, but I won't be doing it to you. I can't blame you for this, I was acting like a cock in the beginning. Excuse my language. I want you to know, that I love you Y/N. No matter what you do, how much you screw things up, or how bad you resonate. You are my daughter and I will be by your side till my last breath" You couldn't hold it in much longer, you pulled your arms around his muscular body and hugged him.
"I am so sorry dad, my intention was never to let this happen. I am truly sorry and I love you" the last thing you heard was "It's all forgotten and forgiven" and a flashing light.
It was your mum and the camera. Memories were made.
