Nash left Logan and I. So Logan and I walked around mingling, looking for the rest of our squad.

"Omg where are they?" I whined. Logan tried to calm me, but it wasn't working. "God my dad isn't here for my birthday. Couldn't my friends at least be here!" I yelled. Everyone was now staring at me.

"Hey Gracie calm down." Logan said. But the rest of my grade then showed. I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Okay you can now watch me scream and cry and rant. Watch the girl whose parents recently got divorced and lost all her animals and her mother has a new boyfriend! Watch me! I'm sorry I don't having a 'perfect' life like you all thought I did! I have personal problems too! Okay! I hate being alone and right now none of you have even bothered to talk to me! And the only person out of my squad that's here is Logan! Like where is everyone! If you're trying to plan a surprise for me that's great! But make it stop I'm suffering! I can't handle this!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I now had tears coming from my eyes like a stream. I was shaking so much. I just exploded. I grunted and sat on the ground, not caring I was wearing a skirt.

Logan came up next to me and put his arm around me. He pet my head very slowly. A bunch of other people came to attempt to comfort me. But I was still sobbing out an ocean.

"Okay Grace, here. I have a gift for you why don't you open it!" Logan suggested handing me a gift bag. I sniffled while trying to stop crying.

I slowly took everything out of it. And it was a bedazzled goat collar and a matching bracelet! I smiled and gave him a hug.

"Thank you." I whispered into his ear. He just rubbed my back. I took a deep breath and sniffled a lot. "Goodness I'm a mess aren't I!" I said chuckling. Logan then helped me stand up and I whipped myself off.

"No you still look like a princess!" Logan said fixing the crown on my head. I just smiled. I then slowly walked towards the barn.

"Don't you want your barn shoes?" Mikayla yelled from behind me. I quickly ran towards her with a big smile.

"But no. And I guess I should go socialize." I said. Walking back into the crowd. Mikayla then linked arms with me. Gilinsky then ran up to me with a worried face.

"Hey you okay princess?" Jack asked. I nodded my head, even though I felt a little shaky yet.

"Yeah I'm just full of people right now. In kind of done with everyone. But I'm a professional performer! So I must act professional." I said fixing my skirt. I then nodded and walked away. Everyone was still staring at me. Until some boys approached me. There was 3 of them. Great. It was Reese white, kaden reich, and lastly Morgan ryskoski.

"Hi Grace!" Reese said waving. I rolled my eyes at him. "So are you feeling okay?" Reese asked putting his arm on me. I just politely smile and removed his arm off of me.

"Yeah. Um. A but I hope to see you later tonight at my party!" I said before walking away. But someone grabbed my arm. I looked back to see it was Morgan.

"No you're not okay. Obviously. And has anyone ever told you that you'd make a great actress?" Morgan said. I groaned and kept walking. But Morgan stopped me again. But I ripped out of his grip and kept walking forward towards Gilinsky.

"Hey Gracie! What's up?" Jack asked.

"Well is there anything more exciting going to happen because it's lunch time and I'm starving!" I whined. Jack just chuckled at me.

"Well lunch should be here soon!" Jack said looking around, very distracted.

"Well that's good, can I spend that time till it comes with you?" I asked Jack. He then looked at me and shook himself back into reality. Then had a smile.

"Yeah sure whatever you want!" Jack said. I smiled and gave him a big hug. I then followed him across the yard. But I then got distracted because I saw LOX!

"Omg hey girl!" She said as I walked towards her. I then gave her a hug.

"Hey how you doing?" I asked. I then saw who she was talking to, Matthew rieckhoff, and Seth wolf. Fantastic.

"Hey Gracie happy birthday!" Seth said giving me a hug. I just awkwardly hugged back.

"Okay never call me that again! And thank you very much!" I said. Seth just nodded. I then turned to Lox. "So lox I've missed you! So why don't you tell me everything I've missed over lunch?" I suggested, so I could get some food into my system. Lox just laughed.

"Maybe a different time!" Lox said turning back to her conversation.

Skip lunch

It now was about 4:00 in the afternoon and I was being told to go to my room. I willfully followed. Nobody was really talking to me, I'm not really glad how my birthday was going though. In my bedroom I was greeted by Lox, and Madison.

"Happy birthday gorgeous!" Madison said giving me a hug. I squeezed her back. "Well it's been forever, I can't believe you're 14! I've been watching you ever since you've started like 2010!! You've grown so much!" Madison said smothering me. I just laughed and turned to Lox.

"So let's get me dressed!" I said. Lox then giggled and looked through racks of clothes I've never seen before. ""Hey where are all those clothes from?"" I asked very concerningly.

"Oh carter bought them for you!" Madison explained. I then felt like i've used him, this was not okay.

"No i can't we will return all of the clothes!" I said standing up. But madison sat me right back down.

"No Carter insisted on me buying all of this, so you're out of luck dear." Lox explained. I groaned and sat back as they pampered me.
