After school Monday I went home on the bus. And when I got home I found only that gilinsky and Johnson were the only ones there, and all the guy's' stuff was all gone.

"Hey Grace!" Johnson said. I waved looking around the house all confused.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked.

"They went home and now back and u are going to live with you. Because your brothers are moving in with your dad up north." Gilinsky said. And I was very upset. So I ran upstairs to my rooms.

I sat on my bed and brought my knees to my chest and put my arms around my knees. I sat there staring at the wall.

Why. Why me it thought.

I then heard my name get called by my mother. So i slowly unfolded myself and walked very slowly down the stairs.

"Hi Gracie! It's been a long time. And I'm sorry, but it will just be us and the jacks from on now!" My mom said walking towards me. I just stood there.

"Where does dad live?" I blurted out.

"Well, um. In crooksten." My mother said. I nodded.

"Thank you that's all." I said before walking into the kitchen.

The next few days went by and my mother and i barely speaked to each other. But then finally along came Friday, it was my turned to host our squad. Because I always host the first weekend of the school year. And we also have a rotation, last week was iris now it's me.

So when I woke up in the morning I got ready and tidied my room up a little bit. Once I finished I walked downstairs.

I was wearing a maroon dress with a peterpan collar. A pair of tan Chanel flats and the toes were black. My hair was French braided. I had a red phone case that said bitch in big white letters, then in smaller white letters underneath it said the most official bitch. I had my orange and blue vera Bradley backpack. My glasses and a little mascara.

I found my mother sitting in a chair in our living room.

"Hi mom, um it's my week to host the squad. So what are we having for dinner? They suggested tacos!" I said and my my other nodded.

"Um. Tell Jack what to pick up and he can make it. And no Taco Bell. But I'm going to drive you to school today. So we can talk." My mom said. And I nodded walking closer to her.

"Okay." I said said slowly sitting down on the love seat next to her.

"So things between have obviously been a little different between us. And so could you tell me how you felt when u came back?" Mom said and I saw Gilinsky watching us.

"Well I was a little pissed at you and dad. Then when you said dad moved to crooksten that made go off the earth." I said clenching my fists. And my mother nodded.

"Well. Thank you for the feedback. I'd also like to talk about what happened at school." My mother said and I just froze up.

"Well that huge fit thing. Oh that was like my extreme anxiety. You know? But now me and Morgan are like besties!" I said and my just still nodded.
