When I went to my locker after school to see a bunch of people around it. When I got closer and closer I heard a bunch of girls squealing a very familiar voice. Then once I got to the middle I saw Jack Johnson!

"Move please." I said pushing past a bunch of girls in my grade. Then once I finally got to jack I hugged him. "So what are you doing here?" I asked. Pushing him out of the way so I could get stuff out of my locker.

"Well I'm picking you up from school with your so called squad and what not. And Gilinsky is picking stuff up." Johnson said signing some phones. "Oh and could you hurry up please." Jack pleaded. So I quickly put the rest of my stuff into my backpack and slammed my locker shut.

"Let's go get the rest of the squad at our meeting place." I said grabbing his arm. We walked out of the eighth grade house then down the stairs and over to in front of the office. "Alright is everyone here?" I asked my squad.

"Oh Isaac is coming he just had to grab his trumpet out of the band room." Logan informed me. I nodded. We all then waited for Isaac. Then once he finally showed up we ran out to the car.

"I call shotgun!" I shouted. And everyone groaned. "Let's go home finally!" I said getting buckled into my seat. And everyone agreed with me.

"Alright now where?" Jack asked. I wanted to slap him.

"Home you idiot!" I said. I rolled my eyes and pulled my phone out. I found I had a text from Alex Bartley. I smiled and blushed a little.

Hey! Is this Grace? If so then this is Alex. Ya know the one that likes you? Well I was wondering if you wanted to go get some mocha monkey on Saturday?

I then was so over joyed! I squealed and did a little dance in my seat.

"What's up with you?" Jack asked.

"Oh well Alex asked me out. He wanted to know if I wanted to go to mocha monkey." I said shaking with happiness.

We then pulled into the driveway of my house. We all got out and walked inside to see my mother scrambling around and pushing a bunch of things in different places.

"Oh good your home! Hi everyone! Oh is that Bryce and will?" My mother asked walking towards us.

"Hi mommy." I said hugging her. She smiled at me and hugged back.

"So today I know is special to my Gracie! Okay well not really. But Tim has always been home for this. But now you're stuck with me! So well yeah. Go do whatever you usually do now!" My mother. And we all just stared at her with blank faces.

"Well I'm Nikki, Tim makes us snack at this time actually." Elliott said trying not to sound rude at all. And my my others eyes went big and I heard her gulp.

"Okay. Well actually we have some apples and some Nutella. We also have some strawberries. So go feed yourselves." My mom said pointing towards the kitchen.

We all then got our food and sat in the living room.

"Okay so now Logan. Aye, we have to do my chores today." I said Logan then looked up at me and chuckled a little.

"Actually, um. Your dad was telling me about that. And actually all your goats are coming and staying at my farm. And you'll use our chickens but otherwise the rest of your animals you're selling them." Logan said. I then just looked down at my snack, and I wasn't hungry anymore.

"I'm not hungry anymore." I said putting my snack at the table. "Hey where's Mazie?" I asked looking around.

"Oh about that too." Logan said.

"We sold her too? WHAT THE HELL MOM! COME AND EXPLAIN!" I screamed. And my mother came running into the room.

"Well your father and brothers took her." She said before running out of the room. I then clenched my fists up flipped the chair I was sitting on. I ran up to my room and slammed my door. I ran and jumped onto my bed and just cried into my pillow. I then heard someone slip into my room.

"What do you want." I said, ready to punch someone.

"It's just me Gracie. Okay so calm down." Gilinsky said. I then looked up from my pillow and sat against my wall. And Jack came and sat next to me.

"So I'm not even going to ask you how you feel. Because I know you are pissed af. So would you like to talk through this?" He asked. I just groaned knowing talking through it would be the best option.

"Well I don't think it's fair how all of this paned out. Because well it's not our fault my parents go divorced. And they seem to be taking it out on us. By splitting us up like really far apart. And then Mazie gets taken away and the goats are staying at Logan's! Not fair!" I said.

"Well. Your parents are only doing what they think is best for you. And right now them being apart from each other they obviously think is best. But I think I know something that will cheer you up. We are going back on tour here this weekend and you get to skip this week of school. And your mom talked to your school about it. And she has all your schoolwork." Jack said and I was smiling from ear to ear.

"This is almost as good as Alex asking me out on a date!" I said. I then got up and wiped myself off. I had Jack leave the room so I could change into some sweats. Then once I did I walked out of my room and down to my squad.
