After breakfast we all walked outside to see where there was a children's party bus! I walked on to see my band class was standing in the bus with Shawn! I ran up and gave Shawn a big bear hug and be squeezed me tightly.

"Oh happy birthday gorgeous!" Shawn said.

"Thank you shawny! But I'd like to know how you got my class here?" I asked looking around.

"Oh it's a secret! But go get your friends and let's do this!" Shawn said with a clap of his hands. I then got everyone else from outside and brought them on. Once I did I was approached by my old boyfriend, who's in my bands class.

"Hey Grace!" Matthew said. I smiled and waved.

"Oh hey Matthew!" I said. He stood there with an awkward smile and holding a present wrapped in sparkly black wrapping paper with a purple bow.

"Well you know how I have an older sister, well she said this would be perfect for you." Matthew said handing me the box. I just smiled and took the box. He stood there patiently as I opened the box up. It was super awkward. And when I finally got to it, it was an ivory Ella shirt and a shirt with goats on it. I gasped and started to tear up it was so great.

"Thank you!" I said standing on my tippy toes and giving him a hug since he's so tall. He hugged back very tightly. Very tightly.

"And Grace I've been wanting to talk about something. For a while. Well. Uh. Um. I still really like you. And I uh was wondering if you felt the same way?" Matthew asked. I just felt my fave getting really red. I also felt very nervous.

"Well uh. You know Hayes I are kind of a thing but not really. If that makes any sense?" I said giggling to soften the break.

"Well yeah but you didn't say no." Matthew said back. I just groaned.

"Okay well yes. Very small ones dude so could you please go enjoy the party!" I enforced. Matthew nodded as he walked away. The bus then drove us home, where I found my language arts, math, and geography classes! Who were standing with carter, Matthew, and Aaron!

"Happy birthday pretty girl!" Matthew said as i walked towards him. I smiled as the 3 of did a group hug.

"Oh my goodness i can't believe you guys pulled off having my whole grade here! But we're still missing some people, like a lot of people." I said chuckling looking around.

"Oh calm down. Go mingle with your friends! And btw we are having a huge banquet party thing for you tonight so dress up, like a lot more. I think you're stylist will be here soon." Aaron said with a wink. I just stood there all confused before walking out to the crowd of people.

I was greeted by so many people, aka very stressful to me! I looked through the crowd and my friends were no where to be seen! I eventually just went to the side and sat down. My birthday wasn't as exciting as I was hoping it would be. So I sat on a bench and went on my phone. I then felt someone poke me. I turned around to see mahogany and Nash!

"Lox!" I said standing up very quickly, bad idea. We both laughed and hugged each other. "Well I already saw you today Nash!" I said giving him a hug and laughing.

"So I'm going to be dressing you for tonight. Aka your huge party! But go mingle honey, you're only 14 once." Lox said with a wink. I groaned and rolled my eyes at her, since I knew she was right.

"Fine." I grumbled before getting up and walking into the crowd, where almost everyone was avoiding me. I hate this. I eventually just sat down where i was and waited for someone to save me. So then gilinsky and my old boyfriend Matthew came and picked me, literally.

"How you doing little one?" Gilinsky asked. I took a deep breath hoping not to cry. I hate being isolated from people. While I was walking out of the crowd some of the popular girls and boys came up to me, one of them was Morgan.

"Hey guys." I said monotonely. But they all had bright smiles and waved. I just stood and stared at them. It was Chloe, Jayda, Tess, Graham, Ryan, and jake.

"Happy birthday Grace!" Jayda said giving me a hug. I just smiled and hugged back awkwardly. Gilinsky then walked off. I stuck my tongue at him.

"Thanks Jayda!" I said trying to sound happy. I then looked up at Matthew rieckhoff who was still stab in next to me. I then stood on my tippy toes to reach his ear.

"What's up Gracie?" He asked.

"I need you to go and find my squad, or at least some of them. I wouldn't even hesitate if it was like will or Bryce!" I said into his ear. I then turned to the popular people again.

"Well I hope everything's ok! Because you can come to us for anything!" Tess said. I just smiled and it made me happy that people cared for me.

"Well everything's fine! Hey are you guys going to this party thing that's for me apparently tonight?" I asked. They all looked at each other then nodded. "Oh that's awesome okay just making sure.

Matthew then came walking towards me with Logan and Nash. I smiled and walked towards them.

"Finally! That was total death talking to them!" I complained once I got to them. Nash just gave me a big hug. "Goodness I've missed you!" I said squeezing him back.

"It was only a couple of days Gracie!" Nash chuckled. I just chuckled.

"I know but I've learned not to take people for granted dude." I said. But I just saw Logan standing there on his phone with a sad face.

"What the frick." I heard him whisper underneath his break. I just laughed to myself.

"What's wrong Logan? You good?" I asked. He then just looked up at me quickly.

"Yeah it's just Lindsey. She was just wondering why I was out of school. And she wants to know why she can't come to the party tonight." Logan explained. I nodded and thought about it for a second.

"Well I don't see a reason why she can't come! So why don't you just invite her!" I said. Logan just smiled at me.
