10 years later...

Hayes and I were at dinner, we were at my home town. So we were waiting for my mom, step dad, and brothers. We were just at the Chinese restaurant in town.

I was wearing a berry colored peasant top, a pair of black fabric shorts with black lace on the bottom. A pair of thong type of Birkenstock sandals. My hair was straightened. A very natural eye look. I had a black phone case with a white umbrella. I then had a berry colored tote purse.

"You look beautiful." Hayes told me while I played with his fingers. I smiled at him. I then mouthed 'I love you' to him. We both chuckled a little. My brother Thomas came in with is daughter, Bianca, and his wife Natalie.

"Hi Natalie!" I said as I got up and hugged her. "Hey Bianca what's up?" I asked giving her a hug. My youngest brother, mom, and stepdad then came in.

"Oh Gracie! You look gorgeous baby!" My mom said hugging me.

"Hi Grace!" Carter said giving me a hug.

"Hey Carter." I chuckled. I then greeted everyone else.

We all ordered our dinners and ate, and once we were done we headed back to my moms house. And I had to pee like crazy when we got there, so I ran inside quickly to relive myself.

"Gracie there you are we were worried about you!" Mom said walking over to me. "Let's go and see how Pandora and axel are doing!" My mom said taking my hand. I then got super excited because it's been a while since I've seen them.

So we walked into our big yellow barn, it was so quiet. Mom then took me to the back of the barn. When we got there we saw Hayes in a suit, and holding baby goats.

"What's going on?" I asked looking around. Hayes looked down then looked back at me.

"Well Gracie, we've been a thing for a long long long time! And you've been the love of my life since forever! You are just amazing. Amazing face, amazing personality, amazing voice, amazing girlfriend, amazing in bed." Hayes said with a wink at the end. I giggled and started to get happy tears. He then got down on one knee and I screamed.

"So I was wondering beautiful if you'd like to get married? To me?" Hayes asked holding up this huge ring with lots of diamonds and it was silver, since I hate gold.

"Yes! Of course baby!" I cried running over to him and gave him and big hug. He then picked me up and swung me around. I giggled and pecked him on the lips. I then looked over to see my mother in tears.

"Oh Nikki don't cry!" Hayes said walking over to her and hugging her. She just shook her head.

"No they're happy tears dear." She said squeezing Hayes tightly. Hayes then slid the ring on my finger and carried me outside.

"So what happened?" Natalie asked excitedly. I then walked up to her and showed her my ring.

"Well I currently am a bride to be." I squealed, and everyone the congratulated us and there were lots of hugs galore. Damn life was good. :)
