I See

I see leafless trees

Standing above yellow wilted grass.

Dead autumn leaves

Scattered across that grass,

Mere shadows of summer's past.

I see wispy clouds

In a dull blue sky.

In those faded shrouds,

The airplanes fly.

I see the copious colorful cars

On the black paved road.

Yet, I never know where they'll go.

I see winter and all its blues.

Once spring has come, winter shall lose.
