Summer Love (A Haleb Fanfic)

Chapter One

Hanna's POV

I roll out of bed and head down stairs pouring my self a cup of ready made coffee. Today I'm going out with Alison, Emily, Spencer and Aria. We're going to the beach with a group of boys that Ali knows from God knows where.

I head upstairs slipping on my pink bikini and putting my denim shorts and kimono on over it. I grab a bag and shove a bra and knickers in to it along with a pair of sun glasses, a towel and my phone. Skipping down the stairs my phone starts to ring, it's Emily. She's probably out side waiting for me. I answer the phone and sure enough it is, I leave the house closing the door behind me, today's going to be a good day.

'Hey!' I chirp as I climb into Emily's car.

'Hiya!' Emily smiles.

'Someone looks excited.' I giggle.

'Can you blame me? A day at the beach with my main girls sun, sea, sand..'

'Sex' I cut her off. We both erupt into laughter.

'Seriously though today's going to be amazing.' She squeals in excitement.

'It's going to be a day to remember that's for sure.'

Emily starts the engine and we start our drive to the beach. Approaching the sandy bay we park the car and walk onto the beach where we find Ali and a group of boys.

'Hey.' Emily says announcing our presence.

'Hey, okay girls this is Liam, Caleb, Toby, Jake, Joe and Ollie. Boys, this is Hanna and this is Emily.' Alison introduces us all.

We all say hi but I can't seem to take my eyes off Caleb. There's something about him that makes it hard to look away.

Later on Spencer arrives with Aria. We walk down the beach and find a spot to lay our towels down in the soft sand and all set our stuff claiming our places.

I slide my shorts and kimono off leaving me in my bikini, the others do the same.

'We need one more player for volley ball, who's playing?' I hear the blonde haired boy who I recognised as Joe call.

'Um I will.' I volunteer.

'Great, Hanna is it? Yeah you can go on Caleb's team if that's okay?' He asks.

'Yeah that's great!' I smile, this could be interesting.

'Hey' I jog over to Caleb.

'Sup.' he smiles making my stomach flip, how can someone I've only just met make me feel like this?

We start the game, Liam serves first and I hit back to Aria, we hit the ball back and forth until each teach scores. We get to what we're using as the tie breaker, it's starts with Caleb serving and the next team hitting back, we're all doing so well,
It's hard to know who's going to win. That's until the ball comes flying back to us and Jake and Spencer hit into each and fall in laughter, we lost.

We congratulate the other team to be civil and then start walking more towards the sea.

'Good game, I've never seen someone play volleyball so competitively!' I hear a deep voice beside me.

'Oh thanks, you were really good as well!' I compliment realising it was Caleb talking to me.

'Thanks.' He laughs following me into the sea.

We wade through the sea going out far enough for us to swim, I don't usually like getting my hair wet but today I make an exception. We chat about random stuff and get to know each other more. We both go silent and all of a sudden a splash of water comes forcefully towards my face making my squeal.

'CALEB!' I laugh splashing him back, we end up in fits of laughter splashing water back and forth at each other. That's when Caleb grabs my waist and pulls me close and kisses my lips gently.

'I always win sweetheart.' He whispers before putting me over his shoulder and running. I scream with laughter kicking my legs, my heart hammering against my chest. Why do I feel such an immense love for this boy I've just met?
