Emily's POV

We're all sitting around waiting for Hanna, she told us she'd eat lunch with us and meet us here but I don't know where she is.

'Em are you sure she's meeting us here?' Aria asks sipping her drink.

'She said she was.' I tell her

'She's probably with Caleb talking baby stuff.' Ali suggests fixing her hair.

I nod in agreement even though I don't agree, I just want to keep the peace really.

'Text me when Hanna gets here.' Spencer stands up.

I frown 'Where are you going?'

She pulls her bag on her shoulder with a smug grin 'Oh Toby said he'd take me out for lunch, he's out side.'

'Don't get knocked up like Hanna!' Alison chuckles.

'You know she didn't mean to Ali so that's not even funny!' Aria snaps out of character.

'I wasn't making a joke sweetie so it didn't have to be funny.' The sly smirk creeps onto her face again. I love Ali but she can be a bitch.

'I'll see you later.' Spencer dismisses us and walks away.

Where is Hanna? I frantically scroll through my contacts until I see Hanna's contact, 'Main Bitch🌏👭' I write out a message to her;

'Hey Banana, where are you is everything okay? Love you Chic👸🏽' I send the message and impatiently wait for the reply.

Seconds feel like hours and minutes feel like years before I receive a reply.

'Hey Hun, I'm in the toilets. I'll be in the hall soon. Love you boo👸🏼'

Upon reading the message I sigh a breath of relief.

'I'm going to meet Han.' I decide standing up and giving the two remaining girls a warm smile.

I leave the canteen in a fluster trying to navigate my way towards to toilets. I'm almost there when her creep of an ex boyfriend Sean stops me.

'Long time no see. Huh!' He smirks at me.

'Yeah long time.. Have you seen Han, she was late to lunch?' I question not acknowledging that he wants to talk about somethings else.

'Yeah I have... but I can see something much better than her from where I'm standing.' He drawls, that's when its apparent he's staring down my shirt towards my boobs.

'Oh can you?' I stifle a giggle before stepping closer and quickly elbowing him between his legs causing him to double over slightly. 'Here's a tip, don't flirt with your ex's bestfriend... Oh and I'm gay so better luck next time.' I laugh and walk away.

I reach the girls loos I find a crying Hanna.

'What's wrong Han oh my god' I rush towards her.

'Nothing!' She hurriedly gasps.

'You can't fool me Hanna, I've found you in the bathrooms crying. The last time I found you like this it was the because of your near 'death diet' so speak up!'

'Emily I said it's nothing, okay?' she snaps.

'No actually, it's not okay! You're telling me what's wrong or I'm going to find out another way.' I stubbornly tel her.

She rolls her eyes enthusiastically and sighs. 'It's just the pregnancy and shit..'

'Bullshit.'

'It's the truth.'

'You're a crap liar.'

'Hardly'

I pull her into my embrace. Where she lets out a soft sob. All I can make out through the tears is the words 'Sean' 'pregnant' and 'everybody.'

'He's what? He knows your pregnant?' I gasp hoping I've got the wrong end of the stick.

'He said if-if I tell anyone about what he done he'll tell everyone.' she whimpers.

'What did he do?' I ask but she just shakes her head.

'You're coming to my house tonight, okay?' I tell her not giving her any options.

'Fine but I'm meeting Caleb.' She informs me.

'Okay but you're telling me what happened. Now dry your eyes, show me that cheesy smile!' I laugh rummaging through my bag to find a concealer that's light enough for Hanna. She smears some under her eyes hiding her dark circles and we leave the toilets and go to the canteen.

I pull Hanna's wheel chair up next to my chair and I sit down.

'You found her then.' Alison states.

'Mhmm, she was in the toilets. You just had a bit of trouble reaching the door handle whilst in your chair didn't you Hanna.' I lie quickly texting Spencer to tell her we've found Han.

'Yeah. Ha. I hate this thing, I can't wait to get out.' She sighs.

'The wheelchair or the school?' Aria jokes.

'Both.' Han laughs. How this girl is holding together I haven't a clue..

Hanna's POV

Sitting here right now I'm starting to notice how much easier it is to fake being happy rather than being happy. I keep telling myself it's going to get better but the only thing keeping me going at the moment is the thought that soon me and Caleb can have our own little family and then maybe a shot at life with our own little ray of happiness.
