Chapter 5: The New Team

"Thanks for the help." I said as I collect the loot from the bear. The only item it dropped was it's fang, which I don't know what to do with that.

"No problem. We just happened to pass by and saw you in trouble." the mage said as his staff disappeared.

"My name is Zuri. I'm an alchemist." I said reaching my hand out for a handshake.

"Zen. I'm a Blue Mage." he reach out and shook my hand.

"And that's Beauty in the-"

"Call me Jackie." the cleric said interrupting Zen.

"And my name is Luke and I'm an archer." the archer said after Jackie.

"Nice to meet you all. I have a friend name-"

"Eden. And I'm a Red Mage."

I turn around to see Eden standing as if nothing happened to her.

"Your okay!" I gave her a big hug.

" 'Course I'm okay. It was all thanks to Jackie."

I look at Jackie who nodded which probably meant "Your welcome".

"You guys new to the game?" Zen asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Well then, welcome to Infinite World. What brings two beginners to the Cornilia Forest?"

"So that's what this forest is called." I look around trying to figure out why it's called that.

Eden sighs and shakes her head.

"We were here to train and become stronger but someone," she looked at me, "had to get distracted and keep fighting till the sun set."

I laugh softly and hid behind Jackie, who was wondering why I was hiding behind her.

Eden rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Well, thank you for helping us but we need to get going." Eden walked towards the tree she hit from the bear and picked up her staff.

I watch her as she watched her staff disappear.

"You guys are a team right? What's your team name?" I ask as I stood beside Jackie.

"We haven't thought of a name yet." Zen looked at Luke, who was sitting beside a tree petting a rabbit.

"Why don't you guys team up with us!" I said.

Everyone stared at me for a few seconds, then at each other.

"What? Did I say something weird about all of us teaming?"

Eden cleared her throat and pushed her glasses up.

"Zuri, you can't just ask a team to join ours just-"

"Sure. We don't have a problem with that." Zen said smiling.

"..like that." Eden finished her sentence in shock. I laugh and pat her shoulder.

"Don't feel bad." I said smiling.

"Alright." Luke yawned as he got up and stretched his arms up in the air.

"Why don't we get out of here. I'm getting tired."

The team walked towards town and into the same apartment but different rooms.

Eden , Jackie and I were on the 3rd floor and our rooms were beside each other. The boys were a level below us.

I fall on my bed exhausted from all the fighting. Especially with the big bear that looked like my mom when she's mad.

So scary, I laughed a little.
Alright, time to log off for the day.
