Trying here! Enjoy.

"What are we going to do with her now?" A women's voice whispers angrily. "I told you Clary that we are going to keep her here until we can strike a deal with the king." Ryder tells her. "So we won't kill her?" She spits darkly. "Not yet. She holds a lot of her own future, if she can get us a deal then we can kill her." He adds on.

"And what are we trying to make a deal for?" Clary says once more causing a sigh to come out of Ryder. "Clary. We kill vampires, if we can get to meet her father in a certain location we can take him out and the vampire race will crumble." "But it won't Ryder! She's the next to take the throne! God damn she'll take the spot if her father is killed. Then we'll be back at square one again!" "Not if we kill her first." Ryder tells her.

"Now shut up, she's gonna be waking up soon. I think at least, I don't even know." Ryder says angrily. I slowly open my eyes and waves of dizziness rack my body. I try to raise my arms to my face and I realize that my arms are restrained and I groan. I see the bright lights causing my eyes to water as I stare up at the ceiling.

"Goodmorninggggg Estrella." Ryder says in an almost too happy voice. "Shut up." I tell him bitterly as I adjust my eyes. "How are you feeling?" He asks in a knowing voice. "As soon as I get out of this I'm going to kill you." I tell him as more pain racks my body. "Go for it. I dare you." He says smirking as I feel the bed I'm laying on raise up and I see him leaning on the wall.

I narrow my eyes in his direction as I begin to pull at the restraints. "Why do you keep trying?" He asks. "Why am I still alive?" I remark back. "Because Estrella we need something from you." He says pushing off the wall and coming closer to me. "And what do you need? Money, I got plenty. Power, not much. A whole vampire population that'll fight for me, check." I saw smirking. "No. I don't want any of those. They haven't involved themselves in a fight now, what makes you think the will because of you?" He asks crunching his eyes.

"You're weak. You aren't a fighter. You were locked up in a cage in a cave. With two vampires no less. Your own kind locked you up, and why is that I wonder? You are weak now. You went soft just because you gained a foot up in a royalty line. Is that what really happened? And here people cower when I mention your name, but all I see is a pathetic little girl with daddy issues." He adds on as I feel myself boil over.

With all my strength I have left I break the restraints and I flash myself over to Ryder and pin him against the wall. "Who's the weak one now?" I spit darkly as I pin his throat tighter. "You mistaken me. You are weak, human-like, hunters are just fancy humans with guns. And you want to know what I am? I'm a half, with more of a vampire side than you could ever realize. You know who my daddy is? The fucking King, and last time I checked that title will pass to me and you'll be nothing but a useless ant to me." I spit out darkly.

"And another thing Ryder, why have the title of best hunter when you can carry the title of running a whole species?" I say as he passes out from oxygen loss. I feel the dizzy spell return and I lean against the wall for support. "When was the last time I ate?" I whisper to myself as I lose my strength slowly. "I gotta get out of here." I tell myself as I push open the door to the white hallway.

I use the side wall as support as I quickly find an exit route to this stupid hunter land. I know we aren't at the old base because I would remember these hallways unless they added on the facility. I begin to run as I pass a familiar picture frame. I stop for a second and analyze it. Asher, and Ryder, and a few other people as well as me beaming with smiles and guns in our hands. "Crazy isn't it? So much has changed." A almost too familiar voice says behind me and I spin around with my guards up. "Asher." I whisper as I back against the wall. "You-r-r supposed to be dead." I whisper. "Ooh someone lied to you." He smiles weakly.

I then notice that he now has a crane and a limp in his walk. "How?" I whisper once more shaking my head. "How? How are you still here? The Estrella I knew would've been gone by now." He says with a knowing smile. "This Estrella doesn't survive on food. And hasn't fed in days." I say sighing. "Oh yes can't forget about that one. You are more of them than us now. Now what to do with you?" He asks as he pulls out his phone. As he texts I run off following the now familiar pathways to the outside.
