Magic Training

Cole pov third person

Cole lead Emma into the woods and got the the troll bridge. "Ok so here is where I will teach you magic." Cole said as he gestured toward the bridge. "You think I have magic?" Emma questioned
"Babe you the savior of course you have magic." Cole said in a duh tone

"Whatever look I'm just saying-"
She started to walk onto the bridge but didn't notice piece of wood stuck out of the ground she tripped over it. Cole disappeared and reappeared catching her. She looked at Cole. A slight smile crept onto his face.

"Enjoying yourself babe?" He asked and Emma swung up
"Could you quit calling be babe?" Emma asked turning her back to him so he couldn't see the red rising in her cheeks.

"Anyway let's start with something simple." Cole suggested taking out an apple from his bag and setting it on the ground.
"Levitate it." He instructed
"How?" Emma asked as Cole motioned for her to sit in front of the apple.

"Close your eyes and picture it moving up then when you have a good picture of it open your eyes." Cole insisted
"This is so dumb." Emma scoffed as she closed her eyes

"Just do it." Cole said rolling his eyes
Emma waited she thought about the apple rising in the air. She started to open her eyes. She was astonished to find the apple floating mid air. She let out a gasp and the apple fell with a thud.

"Good but what did you do wrong?" Cole asked picking up the apple and taking a bite of it
"Um lost focus." Emma mumbled
Cole nodded his head. "Now tomorrow we will work on water movement and creating fireballs." He explained between bites

"Yeah sure but how do I know your not using your powers to help me?" Emma asked
Cole got very serious. "I would never use my powers on you babe. Only if it was a last resort." He confessed

"Last resort?"Emma wondered aloud
"To finish the job." He sighed and walked off

"So brother how's her training going?" Was the question asked as soon as he walked through the door
"It's day one she'll learn. Give her time." He said calmly

"There's no time to loose once she breaks the curse our mother will be looking for her to kill her." She informed
"Marie calm yourself she'll be ready!" Cole snapped

"Oh she better be."
