Emma's pov
"Emma!" Regina scolded
"Hello Regina." Mary said pushing me further behind her
"Mary-Margret could you please step aside im trying to talk to Miss.Swan." She said harshly
"You to know each other?" She asked
"Yeah she's kinda my adoptive parent." I sigh
"Regina I didn't know you liked kids." Mary said her eyes flickering with joy
"Well if you must know yes I like kids now could you please get away from mine." She snapped pulling on my arm
"Oh I'm so sorry Regina of corse." She said stepping aside
"Goodbye Emma." She said
"Goodbye Mary." I said sadly
Regina dragged me back to her house.
"You shouldn't have done that you could have gotten hurt or worse!" Regina yelled
"I'm not going to apologize for telling you the truth!" I say
"Emma I'm your new mother whether you like it or not and you don't have to call me mother or even mom but I do expect us to get along and be really close and I guess what I'm saying is...," she paused letting her face loosen and her eyes flick with sadness," I'm sorry." She sighed
"Well sorry doesn't fix everything but....," I paused," it's a start." I half smiled
"Good now would you like to see your room we will have to remodel it of course but I would at least like you to see what it would have looked like had you been 1." She nodded as I followed her up the stairs
