Never Grow Up

Conflicted

Emma looked at Regina her eyes piercing through her like ice. "Regina." Emma started but trailed off

"I love you Emma and I...I think she wants to take you away from me." Regina confessed
Emma remembered what Mary Margret had said. "I want to adopt her." Emma remembered the words and they ring through her ears.

"Yeah sure I didn't even mean her anyway I was going to show a friend." Emma lied
"You made a friend?" Regina asked
"Yes his name is Cole." Emma said

She raised the kick stand and started to pedal off. "I'll be home soon." Emma said
"Ok sweetie I love you!" Regina waved goodbye

Emma lied she lied so bad it almost hurt. Emma knew Regina was the evil queen and Mary Margret was her mother but Mary didn't know. She defiantly didn't know how to break the curse so she went to talk to the one person she could talk to Cole.

She got to the Troll Bridge and called for him. "Cole!" She yelled and he appeared
"What's with the yelling babe?" He asked nonchalantly

So Emma sat there pouring her guts out to him about everything.
He listened,smirked,and laughed at some things. "So you want my opinion?" Cole asked

"Yes." Emma sighed
"I do think you are changing Regina but I also think she feels threatened by Mary because she is so nice and you to share something special plus she knows she's your real mother and doesn't want to loose you." He explained

"So?" Emma asked
"I say go see Mary tell her how you feel then let it go from there." He said leaning against the railing
"Thanks Cole." Emma said punching him in the arm smiling at him

"Yeah don't get used to it babe I'm here for training that's it." He smirked
"Whatever you say....," Emma said as she mounted her bike and turned away," babe!" She yelled back to him over her shoulder as she went to see Mary.
