Emma tried to avoid Mary all day. Durning class she would ask her direct questions which she would ignore. Then asked her to read from the book. The asked her to come to the board to write finally it was time for lunch outside and Emma practically sprinted out of the class.
She ran out into the courtyard and sat down, turns out Savannah and Rosemary had to go to a news cast meeting so they rescheduled lunch. She breathed a sigh of relief as she looked to see Mary was not around. Just as she was about to take a bite of her sandwich she heard a "Ptsssss." come from around the corner
She looked over to see Cole. "What?" Emma asked "It's your mom Regina she's up to something." Cole said Wrapping his arms around Emma "What are you doing." Emma asked swatting at him
"I'm going to flash us there it will be quicker babe." He explained and she rolled her eyes as he put his hand on her shoulder and flashed them to Regina's vault which Emma had seen in her storybook.
Cole pulled her over to a bush where they watched as Regina entered with Jefferson the mad hatter. "So we wait here?" Emma asked Cole nodded. The two sat in silence for a moment until Emma asked a question.
"So do you know anything about Rosemary Stone and Savannah Fox?" Emma asked "Oh yes the skunk and fox." He smirked "You don't mean?" Emma asked
"Well to fully understand what happened we need to go all the way back to the Enchanted For-" Cole explained but was swiftly cut off by Emma "Are you about to narrate a story for me babe?" Emma questioned as she playfully punched him in the arm
"As a matter a fact I was," he explained clearing his throat," now once upon a time..."
Their real names where Flower(Rosemary) and Josie(Savannah). The two where sisters and their family was very poor. There parents had cooked up an idea. "You my child shall wear a top hat coat and cane walk with a limp and pretend to be sick." Their mother said to Josie placing the clothes around her daughter.
"And while you distract the villagers you with steal from them." Their father explained "But father I don't wish to steal can't you just....work for money?" Flower asked as she looked at her sister for help
Before her father could speak Josie consoled her. Josie took her sisters hands in hers,"Sister father has tried to find work to no avail this is what we must do to keep us alive." Josie assured
"Are you sure there isn't another way?" She asked "Flower I'm am your older sister if I ever though that mother or father would steer us in the wrong direction I would tell you." Josie said as she pulled her sister out the door
It was a slow day in the village. Not many people where around. Just as the children where going to give up they saw the queen's carriage pull up. "We can steal from the carriage I'm sure the queen carries a ton of money in there!" Josie said
"I'm scared." Flower whispered redness flooding to her cheeks "Ok um you distract I'll steal that way if we get caught I'll get in trouble." Josie said Flower smiled and ran out in front of the carriage as it screeched to a halt.
"Get out of the way peasant." A guard ordered "But I must speak to the queen I need to ask her how she....," she paused," does her hair!" Then Regina got out of the carriage
"What is the hold up?" The queen asked She spotted Flower. "I wanted to ask you how you do your hair." Flower mumbled "Sure you did." Regina smiled
And as she suspected turned around to see Josie stealing from the carriage. "Why you sly fox!" Regina hugged flicking her wrist to strike Josie with her magic "No!" Flower yelled running to her sister she turned her limp for over to find she was a fox
"I'm so sorry please please change her back!" Flower begged as she tossed back the money "I'm sorry my dear but you stole and you should pay the price." She reached her hand into her chest and pulled out Flower's heart
"Please." Flower begged," don't kill me." And Regina cackled "So sweet so pure." She laughed plummeting her heart back into her chest "I'll spar your lives but you shall remain forever as a creature not so pure." She said as Regina flicked her wrist as Flower squinted her eyes shut
When the sisters awoken they went to their parents but they couldn't bear the sight of them and with no money they sent them to live in the forest with only the cane,coat,and top hat. And although the two had no parents to love them they had each other.

They even decided to buy a couple of watches with what little money they had and sell them on the cheap. "You know what I think this could work." Josie said as she rummaged through the trash for a new coat since she had given Flower her old one
"What?" Flower asked as she wove a flower crown for herself "This a Skunk and a Fox we can rule the world!" Josie laughed as the sisters started on a new adventure.
"Wow that's epic,"Emma paused," I think Regina is more evil than I thought-" Emma said but Cole covered her mouth with his hand and pointed to the entrance of the vault Regina came out with Jefferson holding an apple. "I will forever have my happy ending because I'm never going to let Snow White ruin it again!" Regina laughed
