Jerks Care?

-Previously!-

I heard someone else come out the door behind me. "Lu, I'm so sorry!" I heard Sammy call out from behind me.

I didn't care. I felt a tear roll down my face. Then an out burst of sobs. I jumped on the mint green bike, and began to pedal. Where was I going? Who knows. Who cares. I pedaled harder as tears began to stream a bit harsher. I closed my eyes tightly.

I heard a load disturbing sound.

What was that?

I opened my eyes, with tears still filling them.

The noise came again.

What was that noise?

Then it click.

The noise came again, but this time I recognised it.

HONK!

I looked dead in front of me, I was in the middle of the road.

HONK!

HONK!

HONK!

The last time it was longer, all I could do was close my eyes.

After all I've been through.

This.

This would be the end of me.

Then came the sound again.

HONK!

I heard a car skid because of the driver on the brake.

I heard honks coming from everywhere, and then I felt hands slightly push/ carrying me. I felt my feet reconnect with the ground, and I slowly opened my eyes. A guy around 16 was standing in front of me with slight concern in his eyes.

"You okay?" He said looking at me with concern in his eyes. 

I didn't speak.

I didn't nod my head.

I just stood there.

Did he just save my life?

 "Are you okay?" He repeated sounding a little more stern this time. 

I used all the strength my body could muster up to shake my head. 

"You sure your fine?" He asked me again obviously doubting me. 

I didn't nod this time, instead, i felt myself falling. I was falling backwards. 

Bam. 

I fell on the sidewalk. 

Oh great. 

My eyes fluttered shut, and everything faded to black.

"Lu, can you hear me?"  a familiar voice called out, only inches away from me, and squeezing onto my hand tightly. 

"Sammy, your father said to give her some space. Just let her sleep it off." Another familiar voices rang in my ears. 

I opened my eyes slowly to see Sammy sitting on my left, and Mary sitting on my right. 

" Oh, Lucy, your awake!" Sammy nearly shouted as she wrapped me in a tight hug.

"Sammy, give her space!" I heard Mary sounding very strict in the place I had seen her before. 

"Are you alright?" Sammy said pulling away to hold my shoulders at arms length. Her eyes were flooded with concern. 

"Sammy, I'm fine." I said looking at her as I saw he eyes tear up. 

" Oh my, I thought you were going to die! I'm so sorry about Ashton! I know he's a jerk, and I'm even more sorry about Kinsey. She was just jealous you took her Ashton time. She always does stuff like that, especially when it comes to Ashton. She's been obsessed with him for years, and he finally had to check her off his list so he had to go out with her."  she said a tear falling down her face as she rolled her eyes at the thought of Kinsey and Ashton. 

"It's fine, really. He has a list, what kind?" I asked curious suddenly.

"You know, like he made a list of the girls that were okay enough to date, and swore he would date them. Then she got all clingy, but he didn't have a choice. She was on the list." She said rolling her eyes again, with discussed painted on her face.
