Remember to never forget

"Everybody set?" Alan yelled from the bus as me and Phil grabbed the last of the bags and ran towards him.

" dude i think you forgot something" phil said pointing at my feet.

i looked down and realized I wasn't wearing any shoes.

"Dammit!" I said and sprinted back towards the house.

I slipped on my black toms and quickly checked to make sure all the lights were off in the kitchen.

I walked back to the door and before I could bolt out someone grabbed me from behind and I was flung onto a familiar shoulder and being carried outside.

" man why do you girls take so long to get ready?" Austin said as he put me back down in front of the bus. " well I wouldn't have been so long if I wasn't packing your stuff" I said putting my hands on my hips. He rolled his eyes and started up the stairs of the bus.

I walked into the big tour bus after him and looked around at where I would be living for the next two weeks. There were no rooms, just bunk beds against the wall, 1 small bathroom but I didn't mind at all.

I started putting away my stuff, I am so grateful to Austin and everyone who I've met so far, they bought me clothes, toothbrush, hairbrush, everything someone could need and I cant thank them enough. I don't know where I would be without them.

"Hey hunter could you come over here!" Alan yelled from the front of the bus.

"You called" I said when I got to the front of the bus and sat on the couch.

"Well " Aaron started. "We just wanted to thank you for dealing with our late night and early morning practices, last minute gigs, and well... Alan." He said.

" Hey! I'm standing right here you know!" Alan said slapping him in the back of the head.

"Anyways, since we are going to be really busy for the next two weeks, we all got you something." Alan said.

" no no please you really didn't have to!" I said " I didn't get you guys anything it wouldn't be fair!"

" we didn't want you to get us anything." Austin said smiling.

Tino pulled a black rectangular shaped box out of his bag that was on the floor in front of him an handed it to me.

I started to cry even before I opened it. What was inside the box was already written on it. I opened the box and pulled out the shiny black iPhone 5.

All I could do was stare. I didn't deserve this.

" thank you... " I said speechless.

I walked in a circle and gave everyone a hug. When I got to Alan I whispered in his ear,

"don't worry I love having you around and if it wasn't for you I still might not have a name"

He smiled to that.

"Ok is everybody ready?" Said our driver that I didn't even knew was there till now. " yup lets hit the road" Alan yelled and we started to cheer as we drove off to our first destination.
