ANTONIO DAWSON!
Ooops... I think I yelled that.
Hands down, Antonio is my favourite... like I love him... and yes... my husband knows this and he's okay with it. Heck he even dressed up as Antonio for Halloween this past year.
Why?
He's family driven, we saw that from when he made appearances on Fire. His love for his family is undeniable... he's a by the book guy but he's willing to toss that book right out the window if it means keeping his family alive and safe... example: pilot episode... he beat the crap out of a guy with a chain because he'd kidnapped his son. He fought to keep his marriage from falling apart... even though Laura didn't give a crap.
What else? Well... he's hot... can't deny that... but I love how he is a compliment to the rough and tough Voight... even though they may not always get along... they make everything work.
He's caring... we saw this with his interactions with Nadia and with Erin (the whole SVU and CPD crossover this season (3)). Seeing him breakdown when a case involves kids just rips into me. It shows his humanity and it brings a sense of realism to the show.
