Now, with this series... I love them all equally. I can't just pick one, but I'm going to because I can't sit and dissect each one.
Season 3 has just made this show better (in my opinion) so my favourite episode is from the current season. "Now I'm God" is episode 10. This episode is the last part of the #OneChicago crossover. In it, we see the Hermann's going to be okay... and we finally find out about Voight's wife. Now usually, I'd probably pick a very Antonio driven episode, but seeing Voight actually show emotions and talk about his wife. That was the end for me. When he was watching the videos of Camille with Justin... I cried so hard. Why? Because Hank Voight is a tough, rough around the edges cop that doesn't take shit from anyone, and yet... he almost lost it on the stand... he got justice for all those women... but to do it, he had to relive the most painful part of his past.
This episode was also a great cooperation between the other crossover characters. When Natalie walked into the meeting room and basically said that she didn't care about policy but she had another patient who was suffering the same symptoms and handed over the patient's purse. It was showing that everyone wanted to get to the bottom of this case and solve it. Dr. Charles was brilliant as always to diagnose the other nut job as a psychopath and got him to lay out the whole plan for them. It's scary to think that this kind of crap happens in real life, but it does.
This was a beautifully scripted and acted episode... but as I said, I can't just pick one.... but this one stood out the most.

FanfictionI am also joining in with 1774Hemmings' idea to do a challenge on all of the Chicago Trilogy... I'm starting with PD because it's by far my favourite of the series and it's my guilty pleasure.
