INNER KILLER

Chapter 2

Despite hiding from the people of my town, the one time i decided to go back to my house when the coast was clear, my family had packed up their stuff and left. They didn't even bother looking for me, even if i was their 'demon' daughter. They and all their property were gone and i couldn't help the tears that flowed from my eyes. I dropped to my knees in the doorway in deep sobs of pain and hurt. Look at what i had caused.

Such a tragedy that could never be fixed and when i was about to give up on my life, some people in black came and took me away. They had knocked me out and dragged me into their van. I have no idea how long it took me but i eventually woke up, not having a clue of where i was. Yeah, in case you're wondering this is where i am now i guess (If they haven't moved me or something). I'm locked up in an empty grey room with tubes and wires attached to me. I can't take them off and i have nowhere to go, no one to call for help because i there is no one; i have nobody left in my life.

"No Brazil, i'm here for you. I will find you!"

Yesterday i overheard some men on the other side of the door talking about me being experimented on or something like that. I'm honestly afraid. What is going to happen to me after that? I might just die during the experiment, so i need to get out of here sooner than later. I had thoughts of ways of escaping here for a few days now but i've only come down to one conclusion. The only way for me to stop these people is to fall asleep...my curse...my deadly weapon, but i forgot how actually. I forced myself to stay awake for so long, so that i wouldn't risk anyone's lives i forgot what's like to sleep or even try. One thing you should know is...they're gonna try to make me do it for their own reasons. They want me to fall asleep because...they want me to kill for them.

I stopped reading at this point. My pit was filled with panic and anxiety. Brazil was in trouble and it was partially my fault. It was by luck that i found this letter she had written and boy was i glad that it was me who found it. Anyone could've received this and probably reported it somewhere and get her into even more trouble.

She was weak and time was ticking. I need to find her.

"If only you knew what you're really capable of Brazil."

I pulled out my phone and dialed the number that i always seemed to call when something was wrong.

"Hey...sorry to bother you but it looks like things didn't go as you first planned.", "Brazil knows ...SOME of what she can do and she's in deep shit. Z-Tech got her...and they're planning something big."
