~About 7 Days After Lilacs Death~

I'm standing at my pot of boiling water, it's contents starting to melt.

I'm experimenting with different potions, mostly ending up with harm potions or potions of darkness.

A knock jolts me out of my trail of thoughts. I walk over and open the door, I'm greeted by Riptide. His hair is deep sea blue, his sparkling blue eyes complementing his Appearance.

"Hey Amy, sorry if I'm bothering you." He scratches the back of his neck, the way boys do when they have to say something.

"Nah you weren't. What's up?" I close my door.

"Hey I was uh wondering if you knew if Sneaky liked jewelry?" If anyone else had asked me this I would've given them a weird look, but with Riptide I instantly understood.

I giggle and reply "I actually don't know, though she seems like the type of person to wear maybe a necklace?"

He thinks about it for a second then thanks me and runs off. I go back into my room, shut off my water and turn my lights off.

I decide to go to the kitchens to make some cupcakes or any other kind of sweet that I want.

Baking is a stress relief for myself, it helps me vent. I get out some sugar, flour, milk, cookie cutters, butter and some eggs.

Before I can continue, Blood comes into the room. I look at him slightly annoyed.

"I'm sorry to bother you,but we have a visitor." He says. He beckons me to follow him, which I do.

We walk to the front of the castle, I instantly know who it is. Noah.

He is the Prince and heir to the throne of the Shadow wolves. He's here with 2 guards, darkened aura hangs on them like death on a carcass.

"Well hello princess. Nice castle." ugh

"Thank you. Forgive me if I'm rude, but why are you here?" I can see out of the corner of my eye, people are gathering to see the newcomer.

"Oh I've come here because we need to talk. Today is preferable." His black eyes glide around the castle walls.

"Right....well um follow me." I say before I guide them  to the meeting room on the second floor, its strong, soundless doors open as I get close. Inside is a long table and a shortened table, I choose the smaller one.

"Now lets talk" Noah says, his eyes sparking with gold flecks.

---------Hours Later---------

I open the doors, glad for the meeting to be over.

"You can leave now." I say to Noah, through gritted teeth.

He laughs, "How rude to kick a guest out." I sigh inaudible to them.

"Where are your manners?" Noah scolds me like a child. I scowl then smile as innocently as I can.

"Care to stay for dinner?" Please say no!

Noah grins and reply's "Well since you asked so nicely sure." I scowl again.

I leave Noah in my guards care as I go to change for dinner.

I decide on a purple skirt with a black blouse, leaving my hair down. I'm not dressing up for him.

I go down to the dining room, he's already there.

"Well you cleaned up nicely." He says. I glare at him.

I sit down at the opposite side of the table, the farthest away. Icy, Blood, Riptide, Coral, and Jay are here as well.

The dinner is pasta with meatballs, salad and chicken noodle soup. I eat a small bowl of soup, haven't eaten much since Her death.

Noah doesn't speak To me much during our dinner, mostly asking questions and admiring the castle. When it's all done, Noah leaves.(he had to go irl)

I sigh as he leaves, glad that he's gone.

I turn to Blood " Alert the other worlds of Noah. Guard the worlds entrances and don't trust new comers."Blood nods, his blood red eyes thoughtful.

I sigh and head to the garden in the back of the castle. I sit at the pond, watching the beautiful goldfish swimming around.

I hear the soft sounds of footsteps behind me, I don't bother to turn around because I know who it is.

"Hey Shade. What y'a doing?" I ask, smiling quietly.

The footsteps stop and I can hear a curse before Shade answers,

"Aw I was going to sneak up on you." I can hear the disappointment in his voice. I laugh.

"Maybe we can practice that during practice. Your apprenticeship is almost done, you know that?" I ask as he sits down next to me.

"Yeah, I wonder what my final assessment will be."I can tell he wants me to spill the beans, me being his mentor and all. Instead of giving a straight answer I reply with,

"Whatever it is, you'll do great. Being a fighter isn't an easy thing you know? You've seen how hard the training is." Out of the corner of my eye I see him nod.

"Do you come here often?" Shade asks, shielding his eyes from the Sun. His question makes me laugh,

"Are you hitting on me?" Shade goes red making me laugh again.

"To answer truthfully yes. I come here when I'm stressed and I need a break. Its pretty and calming here. Don't you agree?" I ask him.

"Yeah."He responds. He watches the Sun setting behind the sculpted oak trees. I sigh, remembering the Times that I had at laaw3.

"I'm gonna go but I'll talk to you later." Shade says abruptly. I nod and watch as he gets up and walks away.

I watch the rest of the sun set, even after it sets I still sit. The cold sets in but I have my hoodie to keep warm. I feel like I should go to my room but the sounds of crickets and owls makes me want to stay. So I do.

Blood walks To me about 2 hours later. I had fallen asleep and not even known. He picks me up and walks to my room, depositing me under my blankets and lighting my lavender candle before closing my door.
